    The 30g pot grow(Mandarin Sunset)

Did my first organic soil grow, much easier than coco and tons of nutrients, however I found the plants didn't like me training as early as I did and didn't get as big as I would hoped. I noticed one plant was in a 5g container vs others in 3g and the 5g grew much bigger, which led me to read...

Seedling to 1 gallon pot transplant mix

I'd mix the coco/peat/worm castings for the 1g's. Don't overthink it, they will be fine.

Smaller seedlings- let them be, or pop more seeds?

Great advice...I guess the key is patience. At $10 a seed(Ethos Mandarin Sunset), i'd hate to waste them. All these were popped at the same time.

Smaller seedlings- let them be, or pop more seeds?

If you pop some seeds, and there are some that are far behind in growth, do you just let them be or pop some more seeds to replace them? I wasn't sure if it was a sign of a weak plant to come or not.

Third run in no till soil.

@supadoopa2 Which rootwise product did you choose and why? Just curious if it was based on what BAS mentioned, as the amount of products can get a little high.

Growing with Gaia Green - Shaded's Method

So I went to my local store, they had 15 gal pots, which really didn't look that big. I asked what else ya got? Came home with a 30g fabric pot, which I'll put 3 plants in:) Most likely not needed, but I also bought build a soil 3.0 mix, yucca extract( to help water penetrate) and build a soil...

Growing with Gaia Green - Shaded's Method

Getting ready for my 2nd organic grow. On my last grow I noticed a huge difference in the same strain in a larger vs a smaller pot ( 7g vs 3g). This makes me think I should do 10g pots, perhaps 2 plants in a 4x4 tent, vs my typical 4 plants in 5-7g pots. Just wanted to bounce that off folks if...

Growing with Gaia Green - Shaded's Method

@Shaded_One Thank you very much for posting all this. It took me awhile to figure it out myself, only to find out how simple it is. One thing I've noticed is when topdressing more than a couple of tbs, I find it makes water simply run off. Was wondering how you combat that.

    From coco to living soil

Man, you guys weren't kidding about how easy this was. 2nd week of flower and I only top dressed twice through the whole grow so far. No ph adjustment, spraying foliar sprays, nute burn, etc. I'd never go back to coco.

    From coco to living soil

Growing in soil is very different. Much less watering. I had some weird things happening to lower leaves, indicating mobile nutrients. I chalk it up to just low nutrients, so I mixed 2 tbs/gallon of soil to top dress along with some worm castings. Hopefully it fixes the issue.

    From coco to living soil

Finally got the plants in the 5g pots with the living soil. At first, it didn't smell that bad, but the more I mixed it in...oooh boy. I thought Photosynthesis Plus stunk.

Thanks buddy! It sounds sooo much easier than having to add everything to coco.

    From coco to living soil

Nice! With the dry ferts, its 2 tbs per gallon of soil every 3 weeks. I was planning on maybe cutting that in half to see how they grow. Do you remember how much you were using?

    From coco to living soil

I think you are right. I'm going to use some of the Dr Earths dry ferts as topdressing. Saw a great video by Stealth Grows where you can just use their vegetable and flower ferts.

    From coco to living soil

I wrote to Mill's to see if their Vitalize(silica) is organic or at least to find out if its beneficial in a living soil grow. I have it, which is why I was asking.
