When should I start adding fertilizer to fox farm soil?

Fox farms would run off ph low, around 5.8 at first. But as the nutrients were used from the soil, my run off ph would slowly climb to the 6.5 ph mark. When I started my fertilizer mix, I ph’d my solution to about 6.7 and my run off would start to climb up gradually until I was ph’ing my...

When should I start adding fertilizer to fox farm soil?

This is an old thread but I do appreciate the responses and I will add for anybody who stumbles upon this post. I followed Fox Farms directions and added their nut line up starting a couple weeks after flower and everything worked great! Started with 1/3 recommended dose and worked my way up...

Possible nute burn week 5 flower?

I’ve used 3ml cal mag/gal every week. Next time I’ll up to 5ml for flower. Thanks for taking the time to comment. That input helps!

Possible nute burn week 5 flower?

Will do thank you. I feed/water/feed/water every 4 days with a feed coming up tomorrow. My run off ppm was 1100 after my last plain water. Should I flush or just plain water instead of feed tomorrow?

Possible nute burn week 5 flower?

I'm in week 5 of flower of my first grow. Can somebody help me identify this issue? Fox farm ocean forest soil. Fox farm trio feeding schedule. I give half of big bloom, grow big and tiger bloom. 3ml calmag, 3 ml silica, and 1tsp recharge once a week. I did add 1/4 tsp of beastie blooms for...

When should I start adding fertilizer to fox farm soil?

I'm on 6th day of flower and have yet to use liquid nutrients in fox farm soil (ocean forest and strawberry fields mix). This is my first grow ever and things have gone relatively well up to this point. My question is: When should I start to use liquid fertilizers? Run off Ph is 6.5 for all...

Plant Drooping After Introducing LED Growlight

I’ve had this problem running the Mars hydro sp3000 with white widows. I had everything right (so I thought) from watering to nutes and everything in between. I raised the canopy air temp from 77 to 82 during the day and they perked up. I have an IR thermometer coming in today but going to...

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

I am using mars sp3000. I had it dimmed to 75% power at 22 inches above canopy at 21 days after sprout. I now moved it to 24" at 60%. That's the minimum guideline from the manufacturer for veg.

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

I appreciate your input thus far. This is my first grow so I totally understand this is just part of the process. But I really am patient with them. I don't believe I overwater but I will say that I think I did during germination lol

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

I hear LED's are hard on calcium/mag and they need to be supplemented more than usual. The plants have stayed short and bushy, only reaching 6 inches tall after 25 days. I wonder if the light is too much as well...

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

I water when it weighs about .9 to 1kg. After I water, it weighs about 1.9 to 2kg so i typically just wait for the weight to drop. Takes about 4 days. It's pretty dry at that point and then I water until I get about 10 percent run off. As far as nutrients, I have only ever given cal mag but I do...

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

And the nutrients in the soil are slow releasing correct? So, higher ppm from this soil doesn't mean the same as a higher ppm say from liquid fertilizers which are immediately available

Looks like calcium deficiency on my first grow. Thoughts?

I thought the same thing. Since the start, all 5 of my plants have been in that range. The PPm was decreasing before i transplanted to a 1 gal. It's Ocean Forest so and I have not given any extra nuts.
