I don’t know that a topped auto will always perform better, that really depends on the plant and environment and grower. I myself do prefer to train my plants tho, I prefer a wide bushy plant rather than a tall xmas tree shaped plant and training can help create and maintain that shape

I won’t claim any sort of real skill with training but it can be a useful tool. I prefer lots of bends and tie downs but have topped autos on a few occasions. a healthy topped plant paired with a good scrog screen can be a nice setup for a good harvest! im not experienced enough to “know”...

Fast buds fan here, normally I’ll order from North Atlantic Seed Co or Oregon Elite. a few other stateside seed banks have pretty good selection and service as well but when I’m browsing for autos I tend to check there first.

They are very dry, if my space hits 40% humidity I count it a blessed day lol. I will sometimes add a humidifier to the space but in general I just roll with what I got! Not ideal, but I usually end up with something to work with!

We have signs of life, and I hope this is the start of a new staggered grow! Left side we have lemon pie auto and right side we have wedding glue auto, from fast buds. once they’re in the pots I’ll do up a proper introduction and set the stage.

I enjoy autos for several reasons. the quick turnaround times, no worries about light leaks or having to change light cycles. the ability to run a staggered grow under 1 light is another big reason I prefer them to photos.
