Stimulants / Plant Grow Regulators (PGR)

As far as I'm concerned I have no problem with polysorbate-80 being an additive commonly used in the food industry, of course we could discuss the effects it has when smoked but we should take into account that anything, if smoked, is intrinsically carcinogenic; even our beloved cannabis. I...

Stimulants / Plant Grow Regulators (PGR)

I believe it really depends on the PGR (Plant Growth Regulator) you choose. Some are more focused on productivity, while others on quality. If I’m not mistaken, jasmonic acid has been shown to significantly increase cannabinoid and terpene concentrations. Of course, you can’t have it all at...

Stimulants / Plant Grow Regulators (PGR)

Hi everyone, I’d like to share my experience because I think many people here might relate: I’ve been growing for 3 years now, and ever since I started, I’ve been constantly optimizing every single aspect: aeroponics, lighting, temperature, humidity, nutrients, training techniques, pest control...

Harvest and start again? Failed flowering

Thanks for the answer, I think it's just like you say, at the bottom the plant is growing new shots. Now I wonder if it's my fault or if it's a problem with the seeds because in case, given the 55 euros, I feel a bit cheated (Gorilla Cookies Fastbuds). However any other opinion is welcome

Harvest and start again? Failed flowering

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask an opinion on the buds you are seeing. Growth went very well until about a month ago when everything stopped, except for the already compact buds. I'm thinking of harvesting everything and using these poorly formed buds to produce wax or hash, I'm really...

    "Smooth" autos strains/breeder suggestions

Hi everyone. I hope I have posted in the right category, however in my setup I have the possibility to grow only autoflowering (long and complicated speech but let's skip it). The point is that the majority of autoflowers are "engineered" to produce incredible quantities of THC but low levels of...

    Whats your choice silica additive?

Initially I also used it before mixing the nutrients but I think that the precipitation of them is given by an excess of it in a certain point. Now to add it to my tank I dilute it slightly with RO water and then pour it next to the pump which I periodically use to mix my tank in order to...

Help Needed! Browning leaves not stopping the progression

I quote since you seem to be much more informed than myself regarding cultivation in soil. Honestly, I've never grown with substrate only hydroponics and lately aeroponics, I was trying to help out the boy as much as I could :)

    Whats your choice silica additive?

Personally, in hydroponics I am happy with the silica of advanced hydroponics, a bit expensive but very concentrated. However I plan to switch to potassium silicate, extremely cheap and also excellent as a pH up.

Help Needed! Browning leaves not stopping the progression

Hey, the symptoms seem to lead to a lack of nitrogen and phosphorus, cannabis is a fast growing plant and it is much easier to give less than more (My personal opinion). Before watering them with additional nutrients, I advise you to check two things 1) The pH of the water dripping under the...

I'm going crazy, what's going on?

I update the thread providing the solution to the problem for posterity :) The problem has proved to be the timing of the sprinklers, probably the hungry plants when the sprinklers are off "eat voraciously" bringing the pH of the little undrained water to fall and this in the long run blocks the...

I'm going crazy, what's going on?

Uh I didn't know the beneficial bacteria work better in warmer temperatures, thanks for the info I'll keep that in mind. I lowered the humidity to 60/75 and yesterday I cleaned the system and redid the solution, I found many deposits as if some minerals had precipitated, very strange since I use...

    Thoughts on DNF Hydro Sparkle

wow, nice roots! If you like, also try a sterile approach. I run sterile, no chiller fees, no expensive beneficial bacteria fees, the only downside is that you won't be able to use organic nutrients whose benefits can be supplemented with certain products.

LA confidential. Grow diary. 400w HPS

It seems like your plants are not getting enough oxygen to the roots for some reason, what air pump are you using? consider that every liter of solution should receive at least one liter of air for every four liters of nutrients. if your air pump is okay it might be your solution too hot (but I...

I'm going crazy, what's going on?

I don't think I will switch to hydroguard soon, I would be forced to buy a chiller, I am very happy with running sterile as you can see the roots are very white even if some light reaches the roots, rather switch to calcium hypochlorite than when it reacts it's always good for plants. However...

I'm going crazy, what's going on?

Hi guys, I've been going crazy trying to fix this for two weeks now. As you can see from the video two plants show necrosis on the older and larger leaves and as the plant grows this also spreads to the new leaves. A week ago, after problems of alleged deficiencies, I changed the solution and in...

    Suggestions Convertible Recirculating Fogponics (RDWC)

Hello everybody. I'm designing a DIY RDWC system but lately I've noticed this aeroponics technique (Fogponics) which seems to have absurd yields. In my fantastic project (made with paint btw xD) I inserted an air stone only in the control tank assuming that it is enough not to make the air stale...
