You'll be fine with fluorescents for small moms but make sure to bonsai as it doesn't have much penetration. If you're looking to really have quality moms I would get a 600 at least for turnover rate and nice looking healthy cuts.

I have no doubt that plants run in the uc look better, how does it translate to higher thc%? I thought it was down to the genetics but I really don't know how the testing works, if you can prove that I know a lot of people will switch to the uc. Thanks ds, I'm going through all your threads...

I had purplish stems like that in veg and was told to add a k supplement, added hydro deuce and within a week or so new stem growth was greener, don't know if this applies to you.
