I definitely don’t have time to do that this year. Hopefully I will have all the rot removed before drying. I’m worried I may miss some since there has been a lot each day

If you cut and dry and miss any bud rot- will it spread during drying? I have to cut it down today & tomorrow. I’ve been cutting out rot every day now and each day there is more. I’m just wondering if I miss any what happens.

I went out with a black light tonight and couldn’t find any caterpillars. I’m finding that hard to believe! I pulled 10 off between yesterday and today. Have you had any caterpillars ?

I have 8 plants so there are 8 trichome pics. I tried to get as close as possible. I plan to harvest on Tuesday as that’s the latest possible day I can do it. My only other option if any aren’t even close is to have my son do it when he is home 10/11. But he has less of a clue than I do, so...

Good idea! A friend told me to bring them inside but I can’t do that. They have been flowering for almost 8 weeks now.

I had planned to try and go to mid October but since I won’t be home and no one to really come watch it i guess ill harvest it next week right before i leave.

The plants are just too big for me to do that. I can hang some branches for sure but I couldn’t even get the whole plant into the house haha

I asked a local grower yesterday and he recommended bringing them inside because of the humidity. But I can’t do that. Some are 8 ft tall

So drying for 2 full weeks will be better option? I think that’s what you’re saying. I’ll go cut away the rot today and pull jt next week to dry. Thanks!!

If I pull next week it will dry untouched for 2 full weeks. I’m away 10/2-10/16. I feel like im In a lose lose here lol

Thanks! I’m in Sag. If I pull it today I only have a week to dry. I’m in quite a pickle!! Or I can cut the rot away monitor and pull it next week then it would dry for 2 weeks but I wouldn’t be able to monitor that either.

Upon further reading I def have some bud rot. I will go and remove it tomorrow. But if I can’t watch it for 2 weeks would it be better to pull now? Dry for a solid week and the cure it? Or let it ride?

Hello! I live on the east end of Long Island. Lately the nights are cool but most days are warmer. My plants are in pretty direct sun. I know I had spots on 2 plants. I keep cutting them off but they return fast! My question is- are they almost ready to dry? I’m leaving next week for 2 weeks...
