    Breeding For Pm Resistance, Etc.

Check out this abstract: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0305197804001012?np=y The terpenoid composition of cannabis can be used with about 90% accuracy to identify the species, interesting.

    Breeding For Pm Resistance, Etc.

The good thing about breeding with wild or feral populations is these may have adapted certain resistance through natural selection. In the Americas cannabis was introduced less than 500 years ago. At least the hemp type. I don't know if the locals bred the hemp to get today's Columbian, or if a...

    Breeding For Pm Resistance, Etc.

An aside... As far as extracting terpenes, you can use steam distillation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis_flower_essential_oil Hmm, perhaps Limonene helps, it says it can help medically. http://www.leafly.com/knowledge-center/cannabis-101/terpenes-the-flavors-of-cannabis-aromatherapy...

    Breeding For Pm Resistance, Etc.

True, I was recently reading about that actually! My reading also said ideally for breeding an outdoor variety you should grow everything outdoor. However, using a grow room would be faster. Perhaps use a grow room at first, then finalize outdoor.

    Breeding With S1 ?

I have some self pollinated created seeds. I know this limits the chromosomes, but is this a bad thing as far as crossing something else to these females? I'm just not sure of all of the breeding implications down the road.

Wilamette Valley Outdoor Possible? Which Strains?

Or do you recommend greenhouse? Do you have to consider the longer days and get a strain that flowers earlier?

Looking for high cbd strain in oregon

Any suited for outdoor or greenhouse? As far as CBD Crew stuff, are those crosses going to show varied phenotypes, or will they be uniform because they are perhaps F1 hybrids of homozygous varieties? I may have to move to OR soon. If I do, one of my goals will be breeding good local high CBD...

What Are Your Must Have Landrace Breeding Stock

Nice! Landrace... anything with mite, mildew, and mold resistance, or phenos to be found with these qualities. What do you suggest here, Thai maybe? Also an Afghan, for sure, like something from the Hindu Kush.

    Tropicoma!

Awesome! In another thread, did you say it was Russet Mite resistant? As far as the Mango cut it was made from, how many seeds do you think they had to grow out to find a nice pheno?

    Tropicoma!

Do the individuals exhibit similar growth habits to each other? Word up, I'm getting some!

    Breeding For Pm Resistance, Etc.

Do you think it is the lineage from parts of the globe that are damper. For example, Thai genetics might lend a resistance to powdery mildew. Super Skunk is very PM resistant, and I think the smelly volatile oils may play a part. For that strain perhaps the Columbian lineage plays a role in PM...

    Tropicoma!

Oops, sorry, I didn't see that! Question answered! Mango cross woot! Tropicoma, is it PM resistant like Mango? With a cross like this, are there varied phenotypes? Thanks!

    Tropicoma!

I grew that Mango cut outdoor, and it is absolutely fantastic organically grown. Anyway, do you think the mother is grown out from the KC33 cross "Mango"? I'm getting Tropicoma, and if it is anything like that Mango, I'll be stoked!

just a little nervous about making clones (90-100% humidity?)

Yes, one's climate really makes a difference, so one method may be better over another, especially the humidity factor. To dome or not to dome. Yup, I like the idea of rooting plugs. I want to try those also. My cuts are doing ok in the misting cloner, but they are taking a while. I think the...

just a little nervous about making clones (90-100% humidity?)

I might try this way also. I might try all the ways until I find the right one for me. Thanks!

just a little nervous about making clones (90-100% humidity?)

So rockwool and sterilization is your thing? Cool. I think with any method sterilization is key. I've been using rubbing alcohol to clean the X-Acto knife I use. Gloves, etc. I will have to use bleach solution too. Thanks!

just a little nervous about making clones (90-100% humidity?)

So I got a misting style clone machine for a good deal, but I have some questions. So, for real a vitamin C breaks the chloramine bond? What kind of vitamin C do you use? How do you aerate the water, an aquarium pump and tubing? It was suggested to me to use an air pump and tubing during the use...

they're out there having fun in that...

It's interesting, some bud looks rather purple when growing in the sunlight, but dried and viewed under low level CF lighting, it isn't noticeable. Under the grow light I see the purple though. I learned a couple things since last outdoor grow, thanks to these forums and experience, because you...
