i've ran the numbers on fox farm hydro week by week setup... i have them somewhere but i was not impressed but the gave reasonable results though. when i find them i'll post it. i think i should have cutting edge solutions different phases too

gonna have to disagree entirely with that statement. too much P is bad but it's not gonna kill all of them if you have a reasonable P count.

i find hydro buddy's silicon numbers to be not quite right- potassium or sodium silicate. maybe it's just me though. great program especially for FREE. i'm about to get the update so thanks on the heads up :)

i have 2 new wave 8 bulb and 3 sunleaves pioneer viii. i like the pionerer viii's but the new waves run 240 or 120 so that's nice as i prefer to run all i can off 240 to save amps. pioneers do have 2 switches so i can turn 4 bulbs on or off at a time and my new wave has no switches just plug in...

if running 9 per 1000 you could use 3.5 gallon buckets and still average 4 oz a plant

that's essentially what i used in my under current knock off i made... and definately what i use in my ebb & flow buckets. i've yet to have a leak yet in either system. so i'll co-sign it working lol. also i've only gone up to 2" holes but i've used o-rings not the gaskets

this was my knock off i made. i wasn't too keen on exact replica, but it was easy and the process is the same. water and air pumps will be your biggest costs and it will be way cheaper. good luck with and it's always fun trying to get a new system built and running
