I'd start again mate. If its your first ever grow, I'd forget about hydroponics and go with soil for the simplicity. Above all, Read, read, and read again!! Get yourself a grow guide or lurk around here to gain some knowledge. Hope things go well for ya on your next run!

    Removing Spindly Lower Branches

Yeah, I've had them under a T5 since the beginning. Thats all I had at the time. Its as close as it can be from the canopy. Its at 2 inchs from tops. Had to save up for a ballast and hood. Removing Spindly Lower Branches

Heres how crappy the lower ones look. I only have two out of three left as the other one wasn't doing well from the start. I topped these two early. I thought that if I removed the two spindly lower branches, then the plant would spend more time putting energy into the tops. Its a first time grow.

    Removing Spindly Lower Branches

I have some branches at the very bottom of my plants that are real spindly with very small buds forming at the tops on them compared to the rest. There at week 2-3 flowering so should they be removed at this time.

Purplish Stems At Week 2 Of Flowering

Dust particles. I double checked with a magnifier. I used an open closet before I got my tent. My dog would sometimes invite himself in and brush up against the leaves lol.

Purplish Stems At Week 2 Of Flowering

@ken dog. Im going to try this treatment today. Going to pick up some epsom salts. Would you agree that its a Ma deficiency? There's shiny patches on the older leaves, more striping has happened over the last couple days as well. Is there any risk of burning them with this treatment?
