Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

Hey everyone, I thought I’d post an update on how the plant fared through the summer snowstorm we got. It stayed around 31 degrees for about 36 hours and we got 5 inches of snow. The low got to around 27, however it was pretty humid and snowing, keeping things from freezing. With three...

Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

Would you still recommend taking the cover off during the day even if it is snowing out? It looks like it will be 28-30 and snowing Tuesday morning from 6am-noon. That’s when it will be the coldest, so I’m inclined to leave the cover on. Would it be a good idea to put a couple large pots of...

Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

How do you think snow factors into this? I would think it would help, along with it being wet and fairly humid. It’s now calling for 3-5 inches, which I have a hard time believing given the time of year, but crazier things have happened this year lol. I’ll make sure to cover the plant up well...

Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

Oh I’m gonna wrap it in everything I have. Curtains, blankets, ski jackets, etc. It’s gonna be very windy too it looks. I can’t believe we’re getting a legit winter storm in September. I feel bad for all the farmers where I live. Electrical pipe heater wrapping is a good idea. Thanks man.

Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

I’ll look into construction site heaters, that seems like a good idea. The plant is too far up the hill behind my house to get any electricity up there. Ugh look at this forecast now. I can’t believe it’s calling for 3-5 INCHES in SEPTEMBER LOL. That has never happened here. I might be SOL.

Will sub freezing temperatures kill my plant?

What’s up everyone, I come here asking for tips and any advice on keeping a flowering plant alive in cold temperatures. My girl (afghani landrace) is looking so so nice right now, and probably has another month before harvest. The buds were just starting to stack and trichs just starting to...

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

I’ll have to look in the morning to see if there’s little pollen granules on the car after wiping it off. I’m sure it wipes off of other surfaces more easily, and it’s possible it just sticks to cannabis leaves more easily. And like I said, I had to use a bit of force to move the spots off the...

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

Damn @Madbud I believe you are correct. Pollen is all over some of the cars outside. It’s stickier than I thought it’d be! Makes total sense. I appreciate all the replies.

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

I hope so! Pollen sounds pretty reasonable. Although I’d expect pollen would be easier to blow off the leaves. Just worried cause clones bought from shops around here usually have some sort of pest. I’ll see if I find the same “spots” on some of the other plants outside. And when I took em home...

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

It’s possible, as it was near a large ponderosa. But their pollen is sorta yellowish, and usually turns the whole deck outside yellow. It’s a little late for pollen, but it has been a light pollen year. However I would think pollen would simply blow off the leaves, but it’s possible. I’m leaning...

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

Would the minerals in the tap water build up on the leaves after condensation? I don’t see any mites, or any other signs of them. The foliage is green throughout, as the spots protrude like little granules rather than discoloration from mites (or thrips) sucking out chlorophyll. And eggs are...

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

I’ve only had the plants a week, but it’s possible the shop used a humidifier in their clone room. Would a humidifier do that to the leaves? The plants seem to be happy and have already grown a lot since transplanting them. So whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to be problematic, yet.

What are these little white dots on top of leaves?

So I recently got some clones from a shop in town for an outdoor grow. I hardened them off for about a week and they now seem happy in full sun. While I was watering earlier, I noticed very tiny white dots on the TOP of the leaves. They do not look like mites, or any pest I’ve had. They sort of...

    Intersex Expression And Tendencies

Heres some pictures of the females that got dusted with that strawnanna. The breeder of the strawnanna has said to watch out for intersex... but the phenos I selected were sexually stable with no intersex traits at all.. So the seeing what happens with their progeny will be interesting!

    Intersex Expression And Tendencies

Right on thanks for the input! That's interesting about expressing male traits on the lower branches with intersex plants. I'm planning on cleaning up the lower branches anyways so hopefully I get nothing but sensi! Another thought I had was that just out of chance the seeds i picked out...

    Intersex Expression And Tendencies

Hey guys, First post here although I've been following some threads for awhile and people seem to give some great feedback! Anyways, I'm currently running a new seed run (Strawberry Banana laffy taffy male crossed with legend OG, happy girl (a local cut bright berry x sunshinedaydream) and...
