1000 plus watt LED Grow

IMO you have the right idea in stacking your led panels. I know you dont really want to share the brand with us yet.....but for the people in the know,,,,we now know leds produce great yeilds and even better meds than hps. I have 5 of the 500bs lights and in totally stoked on them. I am looking at trying another brand of leds to replace the hps lights i have now. Because i have seen first hand---by my own hands..lol that led lights kick ass. So,,,,out with the 2 600 hps lights and in with a few of the leds....just not sure which other brand to try yet. Please let us know what brand you are using.....it helps us with future purchases in the shady game of led lights. I personally like the blackstars, a buddy likes the advanced extreme 360s and pass that i really have no clue---im actually considering the diamond series lights from advance right now also along wtih the glh lights---due to the success of irish boy. You are having great sucess with your lights based on what i can see and have seen,,,,,thats why im curious on your light size, the claimed footprint vs. what you actually believe it covers, and how big your space is that you have the 2-4 leds over??

Im glad you took the time to take a look at what Im doing I appreciate the interest. yeah Ive come to the conclusion that no matter what us led guys say or show the majority of hid guys are just not trying to hear it which is totally fine. Its when they bash us mean while we are proving them wrong. anyway as far as what lights Im using I am going to kkep it under wraps till this run is over because for one there is way to much controvery over lights. I can tell you that actual draw is 350 using 2 and 3 watt leds ( name brand ones). The company is in the usa, I personaly got on a plane and went to there facility. as far as cost they are around 1500 a pop, but i was discounted because of my visit and I purchased 6 to date. I have a few more weeks to fully see the results of harvest when done corectly. I will absolutly let everyone know what leds they are regardless of my results because we are all here to learn and progress. I

I just know and am open minded enough to get whats going on here. You'll never get any bashing from me in either direction. We dont bash the hps guys so why they feel the need to do so is beyond me. I have both leds and 2 600 hps. I for certain know this is the last run for the hps lights. They will b replaced after this round. I have a pretty good idea on your lights......and great for you.....you have stepped out and are testing another brand other than blackstars and glh. For that,,, Wonka is greatly appreciative. Im gonna wait until you finish b4 i make decide which brand to replace the hps with.

Yeah its unfortunate that something as simple as preference on lights being used can cause so much controversy. Either way the bottom line is people are gonna say what they want and be sceptucal but whatever works for your personal preference is what it comes down to just like any aspect when growing.
I'm happy with my lights and what there doing and that's all that matters

wow, how did you manage to keep your girls so short and dense, while really fanned out?

Did you keep the led's closer to the plants when you were vegging them?

Either way, for a 2nd grow this looks absolutely amazing! I plan to start my 2nd grow very shortly (once I decide which LED to go with) and I am very excited by this grow.

I wish you would be my mentor haha, because for a novice grower, you seem to be growing some pro budz. :)

day 56 12 / 12 update

been a few days and things are moving along. I ended up harvested 3 of the 8 ladies or should I say so called ladies. not sure what happend but 1 of the ladies just stopped producing buds and produced alot of sugar leaves. I inspected it and it seemed to have some sort of confusion per say, not so much a full out hermie but deffinetaly a malfunction.

as far as the other 2 they are extremely sticky and resinated but it seems like they also stopped producing but much more potent from the looks. all 3 ladies were small so not excpecting a big count but hopefully even out with the other ladies. by the way all 3 ladies were kalishnikova. deffinetaly not gonna run this strain again even though they are so sticky I dont think the strain is that stable.

Wow!! Very nice garden here K11NG! I run a good 1,000 watts of LEDs myself, and will never grow without them. The meds produced by LEDs has been by far the frostiest and stickiest meds I've come across to date. And looks like you're well on your way to one KILLER LED bud harvest. Keep up the GREEN work brah. Looking good overall. In regards to the strain that is malfunctioning. I would recommend that you only give it water and also maybe (once) a shot of carbohydrates. Not sure if you have them handy if not blackstrap molasses would do just fine. @ 2 tsp per gal.

Thanx for the info but I chopped them, looked like they were producing little baby seed pouches so didn't wwlant to chance it being that I'm running a perpetual in the same room.

This is only my second run and I ran 4 different strains from my first run so its a constant learning experience but ill say one thing the white widow, big bang, and kushage are looking great gonna start flushing on Sunday which will be start of week ten. Trichomes are cloudy and starting to go amber so well see how the end goes
