So you do dry your trim first huh? Even when doing the regular BubbleBag ice mix?

I have heard you get a better yield from dryed but better quality from fresh. I did it fresh last time but really wish I had gotten more. Maybe I will try drying my trim this next time.

Well the company I purchased them from tell you that the 12 in is a good distance, but yes I also do like to keep it further for better coverage.

As far as yeild I am still chopping and drying. But the post you read was yeild from 3 of the smallest plants 2 of which had some sord of stunt growrh towards the end. I chopped and dried the 2 big bangs and 85 percent done drying. So far from the big bang I have got a littke over 4 zips so that's a total of 5.5 zips as of rite now. I'm still drying the white widow and have to chop down 2 kushages. From the looks of it I'm looking at around 10 zips total but we will see soon enough.

Well the first time I used the bubble bags with ice I didn't dry the trim and put it directly in the freezer. When it was time to use I didn't take out the stems and didn't grind the trim down. It was like working with seaweed. It was a mess and like I said before after doing dry ice extraction I wont do it any other way. Good friend of mine introduced me to " butter" you extract the thc with butane! Sounds crazy but its like 99% pure. Check it out on you tube.

Will be doing another dry ice extraction soon 3 seperate runs. One with big bang trim, kushage trim, and white widow.

Nice! Yeah the Butter with Butane I was aware of, I actually found out about that before BubbleBags but decided Bubblebags seemed simpler and I wouldn't have to keep buying supplies(butane) to produce the goods, though I wouldn't mind giving it a go once.

Buddah is the bomb. I smoked that stuff i got from 420 in van. omg insanely sick. Completely other high.

It's not too hard to make... and at about 5 bucks for 2 G of buddah it's really not that expensive to make... when Cali collectives are selling it for up to 80 a G...

That being said you will probably end up with a still potent but more of an Oil substance than the budder your first few tries, until you refine your process

quick update

I know I haven't posted results, but don't worry soon the final results will be in. As of now I'm drying the last of the kushage. So far I have dried and in the procoess of curing th majority of this grow which added up to 288g so far and looks like another 56 after dry. Not even close to a g per watt but the medicine is top notch and I'm very satisfied with the results for my second run. Anyway there will be a full report with tons of pics once totally finished and xomputer gets out of repair
few pics of the last kushage girl at harvest.

Oh and just to throw it out there, if anyone still thinks that leds don't work the proof is in picture 3 above and trust me I have dozens more bud porn where that came from!

It's safe to say that your doing an excellent job. I like your organizational skills and how everything has it's place in the grow space. Thx for updated pics K11NG.

About weight. It's important to realize one key factor. If the strain wouldn't yield 1 g per watt with hid, it won't as well with the leds. Kush is notorious for being a low yielder with little veg time. I grow land race afghan kush for my personal medicine and the plant yields maybe 1/4 to 1/2 an oz (HID) per plant but it's quite simply the heaviest indica that I have smoked to date and a definite keeper. It doesn't make it into production unless for special occasions like Xmas. But back to the point though. If it was like a big bud or something with skunk genes it might reach 1G per watt with LED IMO.

nice buds for sure BUT

even with OG kush under my 1k I get 1.5 lb minimum

maybe more plants will get you closer to 1 gpw

Ok not much time but a quick final update!

OK so my computer is back from repair and I uploaded about 200 photos. I am going to try and break this final report down as best I can with the little time I have at the moment. anyone that has a job, grow and journal know theres no time for anything else. this is the conclusion that Ive come 2.

anyway here it goes
FINAL WEIGHT 322 gs maybe 10 more that wasn't weighed
total watts of led 1050 give or take some watts from the fans in the lights

.3 g/p/w
OK not exactly what I was looking to pull but I tripled my count from my first grow and 90 % of medicine is outstanding and it is a constant learning experience.

kalishnikova strain 1 plus zip
2 out of the 3 plants were cursed per say. they stopped producing bud and the bud that was harvested was terrible. still a mystery
the third one yielded like 20gs and it was really nice bud, but wont be running this strain again

big bang 4 plus zips
I must say that the ladies grew uncontrollably due to my inexperience but the buds were amazing. they were super sticky and exotic looking with tons of orange hairs. not that dense but a half zip looks like a zip or more. the yield I was happy with from 2 plants.

white widow 2 plus zips
white widow is white widow what can I say. its unbelievable. the buds are very dense and hairy hairy hairy. the plant looked amazing by harvest and probably the healthiest looking lady the whole way threw. nice dense nugs

kushage 3 plus zips
kushage ladies I thought weren't gonna pull threw with a decent yield but they deff held there own. and man I must say this has to be the stickiest buds out of all 4 strains. not that easy to trim but well worth the time and effort. oh and the blond kief extracted was extraordinary.

so obviously ppl are going to say what they want about led lights and how they don't work and they'll never make any progress in the indoor community.
well thats just bullshit because they do work and they work well.

Id like to mention these few facts:

my second grow ever
4 strains simultaneously
power outage for 36 hrs (essentials ran from generator for 36 hrs)
heat wave 100 plus degrees for more than 7 days out of the entire grow
all while running these ladies I have 2 other groups of ladies going in my perpetual grow all on different stages in the same area
veg room full of next batch, clones and maintaining 5 strains (mothers)
110 plus gals in 4 separate reservoirs changed out weekly
50+ hr job
wife 2 kids

OK so I felt the need to put all the things above just to show that these are my results and the obstacles involved and that it will only progress from here on

like I said regardless of my results there you have it. I have no affiliation with them besides the fact I went out to there offices liked the results I saw first hand and spent my money on there lights.

I am happy with my results and will be working harder and harder to reach a higher yielding grow which I know is possible.
