Gem why dont you run the power bulb with the power trip package? Also what kind of luck have you had with the power trip ballast?

I have had good and bad experiences with power trip. I am going to be straight up honest, if this company did not have the warranty they do I would have never purchased them. The ballast was the only thing I cared about and have had 2 blow on me, 1 with sparks flying out. I drove to their warehouse and swapped them out for new ones without a single issue. If you can get them for the right price its worth it.

The bulbs I ran last round with great results, but I wanted lumens with the digilux hps. I like the dual bulb, but would rather run a mix of straight 1000's.

Here's a nug of that Durban P. x Mendo Purps that my current plants are crossed with. The plant got no love but it grew decent nugs anyways! It's kids will have much better lives than their mother and mother/father before it :D

i am seriously impressed at the uc setup. must cost a mint to set up initially. approximately how much does one hafta outlay to get a setup like yours wavegem?

Well, around 20k to build and 10k (including rent) to run from clone to harvest. If you find deals like used equipment it can save you a lot of. The A/C made a big dent. Hope this helps

Things are looking nice man. I did want to mention I noticed you had a 90* elbow coming off the inline filter on the far end of return. I also noticed you hava a plant there in a more recent photo, so maybe you already planned or know this.... If so, then smooth, just figured I note it, if the filters get a little plugged and then the pump pulls that length of return against that 90 it might cause an early failure or real low flow rate. The room looks proper and all tidy and clean. Happy farming!!

Thanks Hogan, sometimes we get so busy that the little things get overlooked. This is something I am going to fix asap you are absolutely right.

It was a royal pain in the ass! There are basically 3 types of insulation used. Frost king makes one that has an adhesive backing, I like this the best, but it is the most money. They also make one that has fiberglass backing, which is cheaper (I used this one), but requires tape to hold it. You can use one of these to wrap the sides of the buckets, you have to manually cut out holes for uniseals. Then I got this other type of insulation at home depot called bubble wrap or something. This has no adhesive and no fiberglass I cut out sheets as big as the UC lids, then cut down the middle to slip around the plant and cut holes just big enough for the stem to have room to grow. I cut a triangle where the port hole is so I can access the roots in an emergency or prune if I wanted. I will post pics and how I did everything in detail next week. I also want to mention that the insulation with the fiberglass has to be taped anywhere fiberglass is showing in order to seal it and protect fiberglass from floating all around your room. I haven't figured out how to remove the whole lid or take the net pots out yet, still working on it.

cool mate, obviously worth the investment. sure is a fair bit to outlay but those plants are bloody awesome. shame growing is illegal where i am. growing on that scale would be playing with a damned long jail sentence.

Thanks Metaray, I have been growing since 2006 off and on and I still consider myself a newb. Surround yourself with people that are better than you and you will progress extremely fast. I will be honest Jackmayoffer is incredible, I try to learn from him. Even tho he has no idea who I am (beauty of the forums).
