1800 watt sealed environment

Hello,

I have been on Rollitup for several years. It has become stale, I decided to check out the Farm.

The room has been completely sterilized today. I picked up 20 White Fire OG Kush to work with for this round. Not going to mess with a multiple strain setup right now. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a bag of perlite because I'm running half of my crop in 100% CANNA coco and half in 2/3's coco 1/3 perlite. Seeing if the perlite will lower my EC and allow me run to it a little higher. Got some pics of the setup all cleaned up. New fans new pots new everything this time around.

No adequate perlite at this hydro store. I have never seen such large pieces of perlite, I asked if they had any finer grain and they said "sometimes." I have a regular hydro shop I go to for my real needs but it is a bit of a distance, so I thought I could get away with this nearby place. Nope. (chuck testa anyone?) Anywho, I am runnin 100%

EC 1.15 pH 6.0 Temperature 66.5 F

Hello, so 24 hours or so after the potting and first fertilizing all of the plants look very good. They are definitely taking the transplant well.

If it progresses and looks worse in the morning I will leach slightly in the afternoon, otherwise I will lower my EC in the next feeding to around .7 and that should be all good!

My lights haven't been the most convenient things to raise and lower since I built this configuration. If you'll notice in my first post you can see they are individually hung by chain links. I fixed that problem my buying a 1/2" x 72" galvanized steel rod.

Now that my plants are acclimated to these 600 watt lights I can begin lowering them, 2 feet today, and another 2 feet tomorrow.

Bored, and I thought I'd show off a little bit of my history and progression.

I began seriously growing 2.5 years ago. Before that I took biology and horticulture classes at a nearby university. I did not finish my degree, but due to me living in a medically friendly state and my natural attraction to herb I thought the timing was right to grow. I setup my first grow in the same room I grow in today. Although my first grow was in a 5x5 grow hut. This was all part-time as of here.

I dialed it in well enough to begin an expansion. This gave me confidence that I may be able to maintain a profitable business. The fall of 2009 I started Controlled Environment Agriculture LLC as a consulting/caregiving service. I had a retail sales tax license and enough patients to flower 18 plants. I delivered herb to patients throughout several communities. I would only deliver as long as the patient had either emailed or faxed me a copy of their driver license as well as medical card.

Yields continued to improve which allowed me to begin wholesaling to local dispensaries. I began by dropping by and giving gram samples. I went to about 7-10 local shops. Received call backs from 3-4.

It became a pretty steady gig where I was dropping off around a QP of herb every two weeks. This went on for a little while. Until shit it the fan the state seriously locked down how the dispensaries were able to buy and sell herb. No more back door deals. I was unable to wholesale without a MMC license. (Very high cost)

I thought I was pretty much fucked and back to regular work and personal growing, when I luckily got a call from one of the dispensaries I had done wholesale with. They really enjoyed the product and were more than interested in how I achieved it, they were willing to give me the keys to their grow operation and put me in charge of the cultivation facility.

I nearly died. WTF were they doing? They had 24,000 watts in a horrible array. No strategy at all. No proper vegetation area. I had a lot of work to do, but did it.

When I began testing our strains through the Laboratory. Which every dispensary does because it is required by the state. Not only did I test #1 highest all-time THC content in the state with one of our earlier tests

But I then broke it in a subsequent test with another strain, which also broke and still holds the record for all-time highest overall cannabinoid content.

And even more than aren't available at the moment.

To make an already long story short enough to finish reading I will end it by saying the dispensary owner and I had a falling out and I had to GTFO of there. They still have access to some of the strains I had running in there. However I am confident they will be unable to replicate the results I was achieving in terms of quality.

I now grow out of my personal space and sell to patients who want the atmosphere of a personal caregiver rather than a dispensary. Having worked in one for the past year I try to offer what they can't.

Fertilized last night. .7 EC, 6.0 pH

The spots on that leaf appear to be thrip markings. However further inspection throughout the room has yielded no actual bugs. None the less I will foliar spray tomorrow with Organocide and continue to inspect.

Yea, see the 34% is the total cannabinoid content in the bud before it's smoked. Once you smoke and combust you lose a bit of the matter. So the number that counts is the 30.19%. Either way you look at it, it's bomb. The other strains are the same way, they just don't show the pre-smoked number, which is nearer 30%.

I received your PM. That is extremely unfortunate about the Photobucket/Imageshack problem. I assume Imgur is included in the ban as well? Well I have tried numerous times uploaded photos directly to the Farm. It seems the file sizes are too big. I am more of a grower than a comp guy. I'm not too sure how to change the size and whether it's worth my trouble. I may just take my leave and say thanks for the words.

Dropped the lights another 12" today. They are 3' above the plants, I will keep them that distance throughout the grow.

3 feet above the grow is too far for 600 lamps IMO

as far as your image issues you need to cut the file size down to under 1.5 mb to upload
