Hi guys first time auto grower here..I have 3 auto cheese plants and 1 purple bud plant.. they are 6/7 weeks old from seed.. now before I say I'm going to flip come week 8 to 12/12 my light cycle has been 18/6 from seedling !! Iv read up about autos that they need more light then darkness but I only have 1 tent and I was just looking for abit of advice on what I can do with them or if anyone knows if I'll still get a good yield of my autos.. here's a few pics..

You need to give them 20/4 all the way thru for the best results.
im guessing your running Photo plants also and need to flip the lights for them?
If so you could remove the Autos during lights off time and put somewhere else under a light .
Even a T5 will do for those extra hrs, it's better than no light on them.

Yeah I made the mistake of throwing my last Purple bud seed in with the autos not realising that autos need more light.. these are my baby's as of 2day

As on page 3 of this thread, it's cab making time! I've got 10 hats of shake. Should be a good run.

looking good.. I run 2 600 too, and a 400 led between them..
It's hot! I ordered an inline duct fan and larger exhaust fan. I hope they help. I have plenty of room but in worrying about over loading the circuit. I had a hell of a time connecting it all. We're retired and not as flexible as we once were. Thanks for the feed back. I hope you grow more. I have a winged light I could connect between them. Hmmm

I have 400 over a shelf I use for seed sprouting and veg.
Honestly I think your doing good with just the 2 600..
Do you have a vent in the room for ac/heat?
I have a 440 cfm fan blowing thru my hoods,,,
not sucking., but blowing...
Im around 77 degrees but i have a 5000 btu window ac,
that gets it down to that...
I am using the led in the middle as I have a thick canopy,
and am using c02...
Pics from last night,,, 6 weeks exactly..

I do have the a.c. vented into the room, which is my walk in closet. I think the inline fan and larger exhaust will do the trick. If the outlet can push it all.

Do I have this right?
You have a cabin filter up high,
that connects to your first hood,
then duct that to your second hood,
then ducts up to a outside vent?

That is the way you would hook up 1 light,
but with 2 you need to 1 of 2 things...
you either need to upgrade your exhaust fan and duct,
to a 8 inch exhaust fan and filter,
AND
INSULATED DUCTING....

Or your second choice, and I know you said you are not a spring chicken anymore,
And beleive me im with you on that!
but the second alternative,
is to take the carbon filter off and cut a 6 in hole in the wall to outside and put a dryer vent on the outside,
so you can draw outdside air thru INSULATED ducting thru the hoods and back outside,
never mixing with the inside air....
That should leave your room about 75...
that 400 watt light you use for seedlings is prob putting off quite a bit of heat...
u could trade that in for a 4 bulb t5 that would do the trick...less heat..

I know this shit gets expensive,
and sometime you got to say enough is enough.....
but if heat becomes a problem,
u might not have a choice.....
Awesome to see you still getting it!
You were one of the firsts threads and ppl I followed when I got here....

Well if you got ac in the room,
then your best goal is to separate the air flow thru the hoods,
pull from outside, and exhaust straight thru lights and back outside...
no smell, and you will be perfect!
Thats how i run mine...

I've been running one t5 for veg and one hps600 for flower for two years. I think this upgrade will work will. My son in law does hvac and can also add an electrical outlet if I need one. He put the ac duct in the room when we started. I don't have separate veg room so autos are working well. I just want more. Thanks again for your help.
