Took some close up pictures of the flower, not all of the girls are at the same stage.

I'm now in week 3 flower.

To a novice like me it's starting to look good but I'm hoping for the thumbs up from the group that everything looks OK?

Good catch on your pump!!! Your girls look happier now they’re resilient and will recover just fine.

Starting week 4 flower

pH levels are cool, however I realised that I havent calibrated the pH tool for a few weeks... which is like pissing in the wind! Can't let that happen again. 850 PPM achieved.

Next time round I'm 100% using a net to manage the canopy for an easier life.

This time round I done 8 weeks veg and 8 week flower, I think next time I'll shorten the veg period to 6 weeks veg as height is getting tight.

The other week I split the stem and used tape, jesus these plants are so durable! Fixed.

I have been struggling with my back recently. Really looking forward to using my medicine to heal.

They are, just such a tough plant. This was split over 2 weeks ago, amazing.

Quick check in..

Tomorrow I start week 5 flower looking forward to seeing some fat buds (hopefully) in the next few weeks.

Here's a few pictures.

Had to move one of the plant with another because of space... the roots = crazy! Couldn't a photo unfortunately because I needed both hands.

Waiting game now, I get so much from just studying the plants and watching them transform.

Start of week 5 Flower

âś… pH adjusted to 5.8... the little tick on my BlueLab tool tells me it still doesn't need a calibration so that's cool.

Once I run out of Vitalink for pH Up & Down I'll go for a different brand because although the bottles seem secure they end up leaking all over the place and it's annoying. Any other brands recommend?

âś… 1,000 - 1,050 PPM (TDS) on the nutrients... still following the Remo schedule.

Trying my hardest to keep the canopy flat and even, switched some plants around.

Other than that it's just a waiting game and staying on top of maintenance.

The InkBird WiFi humidity and temperature controllers I've had for a few weeks now, brilliant bits of kit and reasonable on price. Allows me to control and monitor from my phone.

Thanks for the advice @greengenes44 the only problem is I'll be growing in a hydro setup via rockwool.

Do you think I could put the plug in a cup and use some washed clay pebbles instead of soil to achieve the same result?

Thanks

Bud
use small grow cubes instead of soil.

Almost at week 6 in the next couple of days and I'm noticing a few plants having issues with leafs.

Start of week 6 Flower 🌼

âś… pH adjusted to 5.8... the little tick on my BlueLab tool tells me it still doesn't need a calibration so that's cool.

âś… 900 PPM (TDS) on the nutrients... still following the Remo schedule, the "MagNifiCal" has been dropped out so I'm guessing that's why the PPM drop from last week.

Week 7 is the same nutrient schedule then it's the flush in week 8... getting closer. If anybody has any advice I'd really appreciate it as I'm in the great unknown! I'm going to read up on harvest and watch videos but tips from you guys is like gold.

In my last post I mentioned some concern about the leafs, again I'm open to ideas. Do I have anything to worry about?

That's kinda a lucky split actually, I've had branches just shear before, no gluing those back usually. Once your in full flower, the bendy is gone, and rigidity/brittle is really much worse the closer you get to harvest.

It has something to do with cell life cycle I believe.

Plant stem cells never undergo aging process but immortally give rise to new specialized and unspecialized cells, and they have the potential to grow into any organ, tissue, or cell in the body.

(meristematic cells)

That's why I think good size well developed stems can be very beneficial. Not only the vascular advantages, but more/bigger cellular pipeline. ie. build buds faster. Works sorta like bone marrow and blood cells.

I am starting to see a few of the plants change, the pistils on a few of the girls are turning from white to orange which is a step in the right direction.

Start of week 7 Flower 🌻

✅ pH adjusted to 5.8 and the water temperature is at 18°c

âś… 950 PPM (TDS) on the nutrients, this will be the final week on Remo nutrients... week 8 is a "flush" with RO water. If anybody has any advice I'd really appreciate it as I'm in the great unknown!

A few plants are showing signs of heat stress which is confusing because I haven't had any temperature issues and a few of the leafs aren't looking great.

pH pen has been calibrated, cleaned the BlueLab truncheon with water and old toothbrush. Below is the airstone before and after... again just used water and the toothbrush.
