Watered 3 in 4x4 and 1 in 31x31 with ro water amended with 3ml gallon rate cal-mag.
Pulled some fading fans on 2 plants and removed some blocking fans on the 2 big beautiful plants.
Water babies continue to lag with 4 plants fading hard. Did amended with some EWC but I don't expect a pickup this close to the end. Prolly pH issue now. Did allow a good dryback on everyone this go and everybody made it back to last position tare weight for dry buckets before watering.

Panel at 100% in 31x31 and 76% in 4x4 buds as close to 40k lux as I can get them.

Update.
Watered one of the big beautiful plants and fed with 3 tbs DR Earth Grow and ro water at 3ml gallon rate.
Topped with some perlite /soil conditioner and most importantly for once I actually had fan leaves to trim for opening up the lower sites.
IMG 20251202 093336410 HDR

No other plants are to the dryback point of watering.
Did a shit load of opening up and culling worn faded leafs. Removed a bunch of leafs in the banned tent and surprisingly the genetics defect plant is looking better.

Update.
Getting close to last 4 weeks of the run. As such am down to 76 degrees from 79 and will go to 75 on next Monday.
This has resulted in a marked reduction in water use from all plants. Only 1 plant ready and 3 more close. Will not go over 2 liters for the rest of the grow and the smaller plants will be even less.
Did water the 2nd big beautiful plant with ro water at 3ml per gallon rate. Top dressed with 3 tbs Dr Earth flower girl and a cup of conditioner and perlite.
Temp 76 lights 40k lux humidity 52% day 44% night.
Trace shows no humidity peak at lights out.
No signs of gnants.

Day 59 bud shots.
Nice to see some fill in.

Update
Watered one plant in 4x4 with 1.7 liters ro water with 3ml cal mag per gallon rate. Fed 3 tbs Dr Earth Flower Girl and topped with one cup soil conditioner.
This plant was one of 2 that hot turned up a week before the 3 of them and 10 days before 2 others.
I do this because allowing the plants to turn up from restraints sets the hight of the bud runs up the stems. I do not like to put all my eggs in one basket so I stagger the turn up to ensure some are perfect if I get it wrong. The result when early looks like this.
IMG 20251204 075657473 HDR

As you can see she has nice long secondary stems but the node spacing was shit so no fan leafs to support growth.
It happens. It still has 4 weeks to fill in but I do not think it will be able to connect from bottom to top like it is supposed too.

ILGM Apple Fritter Auto 60 days above ground with breeder notes for 85 day harvest.

Lights at 79% everyone as close to 40k lux as I can get 76 degrees 51% RH.
Will do small tent at 2 pm.

Promise.😎

2pm check everyone good cept one plant in 4x4 got moved onto a tent wall. At duct 4 the pull sucks in walls but I got panels for that.

Slight biological control interface issue. Turned on RO filter at 7 Am YESTURDAY to fill 32 gallon Ace Hardware can and turned off today at 2pm check.
according to the gallons per hour I am now way over my recommedation for filter change. EC has gone up to 60 ppm from 4 but still going to get a new filter set.

Just wating to see what else I forgot.......

Update.

3 of the underwater plants from the nemetode soak are retaining water weight and will not fall to tare weight. Tomorrow I am going to water back up to full and see how long the dryback takes to the adjusted amount.
3 plants have moved ounces in 7 days and whenever I get a plant that is ready I compare the trend data and the actual and it show retention. Prolly dead roots or a mud channel in the middle. All 3 are fading fans and even sugars now.
Still have 5 good plants getting bread loaf light and the stretchy girl is filling in well.

Update
Watered one plant in 4x4 and one in 31x31 with ro water with cal-mag at 3ml per gallon rate.
Both were watered back to original tare weight plus all soil top dressing.
One took 1.1 liters with no drainage but the sides of the pot got damp.
One took 1.3 liters and got no runoff and most of the pot sided got damp.
Have some signs of unhappy plant tops at 42k so back down to 37k. Panel at 72% and 3 different booster seats moved around for balance
Genetic weirdo keeps doing it's let's stop spitting threads and go right to swelling up. I have split a few and they are not seeding.
Temp 75 day 68 night.
Humidity 51 day 44 night.
No bugs.

Update.
I have 4 pots doing good with minimal fade and no problems.
I have one pot with a straight ruderalis plant.
I have 4 plants damaged on the bottom and I no longer think it was the nemetode treatment.
Today's duties including weighing a pot that has leaves dropping because it is so dry but the weight still high with both feel and measurements. Going back over my notes this one had closed up from a 5 day turn to a 3 day turn and now has been 7 days since watering.
I have closed the weighing portion of the watering procedure and I am angry at my self for following my technology instead of my sense of growing. It appears that my watering has been shit show for the 4 plants that have taken a turn. They are going to finish but greatly reduced yield.
I use an Excel SS for the weight portion. It appears that somehow the cells stipulating the added weight of top dressing were either right on correct or were subtracting this weight from the tare for the last 4 weeks.
4 pots have been over filled then under dried until they stopped all together.
This may be a networking issue as I use my wife's Excel and when she needs to use it on opening she says my sheet comes up and she just parks it and work on her stuff. I think it stops accepting backups from my laptop when she parks mine.
In any event the data and the plants are so malfed that I am babying them as much as I can. I got 4 good plants and 4 25-50 gram plants.
And a Ruderalis plant.

Bla.
Edit
Also the amount of plants I tried to run was a huge mistake on my part. I am not physically able to work that long at one time and there have been days where I could not finish tasks and put them off for a day.
Training really did me in. Keeping 10 plants trained for that key 5 week period was just 2 damn much.

So, any updates? You're about a month ahead of me, but I'm beginning to think two of my Northern Lights may take longer than advertised.

Well maybe you could run same amount pf plants, no training, big single cola plants!!
I myself have not typically trained my plants....too much work lol. Finish line is in sight so rest up those hands for trim jail 😉

Update.
2 plants very poor condition and have stopped using water. Broad based nutrient deficiency from wet feet. Buds are small but well formed just very tiny. Another 2 weeks would finish them but I am not sure they have that much time.
2 plants very good condition. Still has many fan leafs present and very a few fading. These plants look 4 weeks out.
I have 2 plants doing good. Almost no fan leafs left but no fading on sugars and long buds runs filling in. These 2 plants look 3-4 weeks out.
I have 2 plants that are in ok condition. They are very squat and will not yield much but they both had the nitrogen fade caught early and are still very green and have just now started to fade. Both have flower runs much fatter that the rest of the plants. Yellow tips but green new growth.
And I have one ruderalis plant that is putting along looking like a ruderalis plant all swelled bracts and stringy.

Over the last 2 days I have gone over methodologies and plans and I have found where my problem lies.
2 major nutrition related situations.
The nutrition change I made going to Dr Earth Organic was a good plan poorly researched and implemented. It appears that Dr Earth has a cannabis feed schedule and I am following the schedule on the bags.
I used the 4 4 4 until preflower and then mixed in a sliding scale of flower girl at 3 9 4
At the same time I was amending like crazy with the EWC and the soil conditioner. As the fading started I increased the EWC and conditioners to the point where the soil composition was now way off and I am pretty sure this is what caused the root issues on the 2 bad plants.
If you pick up the plant and rock it left or right you can feel the difference in the soil from a well presenting plant. It feels like the center of gravity on the plant is much lower due to the weight being retained at the bottom of the pot.
In addition the EWC bag has a much lower nitrogen spec than my last bags of EWC. The gold from Ace was .065 and this stuff is .05 and I had no clue that EWC was made different.

Screenshot 20251212 080439 Chrome
This is the feed chart for cannabis. It starts with the homegrown and uses the 4 4 4 as an anytime amendment. It also uses another source of nitrogen support as well as a biome support addition.
I have followed a few guys on RIU but no longer use the site. I am convinced this nutrition is a good choice but like the foop I got schooled in running a feed chart and what happens when you deviate from the chart.
The OMG worse part?
The homegrown in the cannabis feed chart is readily available to me. It is in the same tote as all my nutrients. It has been my go to tomato food for years.
The organic parts of the grow they stipulate amending before you need them prolly will work better is used at feed rate. The feed rate for the cannabis chart and food/flowers chart is prolly double the nutrition than using the bag schedule. The only thing that saved me was the EWC and for the best 2 plants the success was due to almost all ocean forest and an early EWC load.
The second nutrition problem was the way my spread sheet utterly failed in tracking weight. I am so angry about this. My first setup had me with a preprinted sheet with each feeding getting the additions weighed and then tabulated by hand. I actually took the time to bring 2 glass 5 oz graduated classes to the same tare weight by bringing glass until they were .01 grams close. This would have had me doing the math adds for my pot tare weight every feeding. This was slow and I decided to uses Excel to help the process and it did not go as planned.

And now to my health. This was to much work. To many plants. I now am once again at a critical condition with my right side lower back spazzing out and cramping. This pain is back to 2001 levels where I had to drop technical work and went to teaching for 5 years. I'm sure it is the exact same spasms and soreness that started me with pain clinics. This pain has actually been better for 2 reasons. Number one is the lower muscles in my back are nothing but scar tissue. They would spasm but the pain did not last long because the muscles were just scar tissue. The other reason is that one of the procedures I had done was called a nerve ablation where they literally use DC current to burn the nerve out. This was a good 2 year break in the chain until the pain receptors rewired and now the pain is back but in a different level of my spine. I always know this was possible and my guess is I will be looking at another nerve ablation unless it is to close to the ciatica nerve.
Plan right now is to do what I can when I can. Soon as possible I am going to move the banned plants into the main tent and move the very poor plants into the 31x31 as these are now a possible disease vector.
I have bought some Alaska Fish Shit and have used that for nitrogen support instead of the weak EWC as there is to much in the pots messing up the weight.
Will get the other 2 components of the Dr Earth Cannabis schedule for use with my photo grow of 4 plants.
Just 4. 5 gallon pots. No autos in the 31x31

Geeze, I hope you feel better. And you will have some good bud, just not as much.
I'm realizing this growing indoors can be a difficult journey. My poor plants are suffering greatly and teaching me to stick to the menu and not try to 'wing it' like I do when growing outdoors.
Are you sure you want to switch to 5 gallons? Mine are very heavy and awkward to lift and move. Unless you don't plan on moving them. And with a little LST my autos are filling up the tent. I had to move the humidifier out.
BTW, does your humidifier hose drip? I had to put a bowl under to catch the condensation.

I will be doing photo periods. As long as I can get back to gauging weight with lifting I do not have to move them out of the tent. With the 3 doors I can reach the plant as needed for maintenance.
Right now twisting is a big no no. Almost collapsed and dropped 2 gallons of mixed fish shit and cal mag.
If that would have happened the only choice I would have is burning the house to the ground and starting over. That shit smells like shit.

I used it one year on my geraniums in flower boxes under our windows. Let's just say, will never do that again. LOL

My buddy.
We have 4 cats in our home. The last 2 days have been the suck. Not a whole lot of sleep and a lot of yelling and sometimes just feral noises from nerve pain.
And here sits my buddy within reach. Wherever I go he still stays right next to me putting up with the noise and the stress. Putting up with the acrid pain stench that the human body produces when it does not stop.
This really sucks.
And yet right there is my buddy.
