That's great to hear! I find growing very rewarding in many many ways. Good luck if you do get into it!Wow thanks for sharing :)
Its giving me the push i need to get into it.
Time to flip so I went 12/12 light cycle, bumped my nutes up a little bit, added a trestle net from home Depot that has huge 5" gaps...for scrog, moved my lights down 18" from the canopy, and added another cheap 300w viparspectra led to mix in with my 2 other meizhi 300w LEDs. Defoliated for the first few days of 12/12 and will defoliate again at the start of week 3 flower for the last time. Started tucking everything at net level.
The formerly helmet head white widow in the middle seems to be catching up to the other white widow on the left. Og kush on the right has been going strong.
Netting with 2.5” squares is ideal and easily makable. You are not running 600w. Each of those only pull 139w max. Everything looks great but when it comes time to flower you will be very disappointed
I wish I would have topped these plants. I had a tight schedule for this grow so I was worried about the topping slowing growth down too much but from what I've seen from other journals, topping looks amazing and I can't wait to try it for my next grow. Did more tucking throughout the week and feed has increased from 1 to 2 gallons in total.
OG kush is thirstier than the white widows. The white widow with a formerly pinched node is in a little less than 3 gallons of coco because of bad planning which may explain why I'm feeding the helmet head white widow which has more coco medium a little more than the other. I've pretty much been tucking and watering for the past 2 weeks of flower and growth has been looking nice. At the end of this week, my grow journal will be caught up!
The weather has been very hot the past week in the 90's so I had to keep an eye on my temps and humidity. Today however is very cool weather and I will be adding another cheap "300w" led by meizhi that just came in the mail.
Don’t doubt yourself, you didn’t need to top, you did a great job with the LST, def wanna get those temps lower, and that humidity you gotta get to 35-40 percent. I myself am from and live in New England so humidity is a constant battle, especially when it rains here.
Dude I got a 4x8 tent up in Manchester on Craigslist for 100 bucks what a steal. If you’re willing to drive you can get shit for a steal from people who either can’t grow or upgraded or don’t need the equipment. Search inline fans, 6” cfm. I bet you can get one for 50 bucks, that’s well worth the investmentThanks. Yeah I'm worried about humidity. Going to need small dehumidifiers or something. I might try lining my grow tent with charcoal in hopes it drops my humidity by a few % maybe accompanied with damprid. Can't shell out on a dehumidifier since I'm still on a budget. Combating humidity has been on my mind for the past month along with worries of heat waves. Have you been growing for a while now?
Cuz if you don’t, you’ll wish you did 9Dude I got a 4x8 tent up in Manchester on Craigslist for 100 bucks what a steal. Killer job homie, everything is looking pretty evenThis update catches this journal up to present day. So what has happened recently is that I snapped a cola while tucking under my scrog! I didn't notice how Woody and inflexible it had become and I may be a bit too rough with the plants. I put some white duct tape around it in hopes that it heals as can be seen in the pics. Will be defoliating for the last time today.
