Im watching u!
Regards.
Thanks Bro, I should be yummy..lol It smells like candy.
I know right, I have heard so much about it, we will see.Looking great. Super excited to see your girls on shooting powder, i reckon they will blow the fuzzy up.
Holy crap... You're killin' it!!! Looks purple to me... Is that the Purple Kush?
Thanks Shady Bro, I appreciate the compliments. The buds are actually starting to look a little purple. It's nutz.
Yes it is.YUP that is SR-71 PK
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that the same one that Oaksterdam carries? If so then that's the same cut I've got, athough still in veg and no where near as pretty...
Just re-read the journal... LMAO, found the confirmations:
Hey Raiderfan420... I know I asked before, but could you recap the max PPM you hit in veg vs flower... Also what pH did she prefer in coco and how would that translate in a soil and peat moss mix? I just hope I can figure out what nutrients she prefers cuz it seems like the CalMag isn't the solution in this strain... Or mabe I'm not givin' her enough food.
EDIT:
So I'm thinkin' the Purple Kush doesn't like too much CalMag... I'm also very curious to see how her root structure is cuz of her medium stature...
It is the sr-71 pk which the oaksterdam nursery grows. The sr-71 dispensary is no longer in existance and the coffee shop blue sky is the oaksterdam exclusive dispensary. Not saying they are the only oaksterdam disp, but they only have oaksterdam clones. I picked mine up in lake county from green leaf. The vendor cut my clones from a 1st gen sr-71 mother. I am planning on making a run down to the bay in the beginning of Jan to get some new clones. The deal is that if you don't get them straight from oaksterdam, you may be getting a distant generation so the genetics have been erroded.
The root structure filled my 7 gal smart pots before I flipped the switch. roots growing out the bottom, sides and exposed on the surface. They are very squatty and mine are maybe 3 feet tall now, but will grow as wide as tall. When I harvest I will try and remember to post some root shots.
I haven't added any cal/mag at all. I have some, but haven't wanted to mess with the house and garden nute program unless needed. I do however have some bright yellowing on one cola top fans. It is only on one, so I haven't adjusted anything. It happens to be the tallest cola. I am going to flush tomorrow with about 400 ppm nutes in r/o water. If I son't see any improvement, I may add some cal/mag. I also have clearex which I wll use in the final flush 3 days out.
To answer the nute question. I used 400 ppm through most of the veg and start kicking it up right before flower to about 500 ppm. Then raise it a little every week of flower. I used 90% of the recommended nutes per the house and garden cocos feeding chart. I got up to 950 ppm, but am backing down now for the last few weeks. I ran 840 with the shooting powder and will bring it down again next week. I plan on running 400 ppm for the last week flushing with r/o water and clearex when the trichomes look ready (a few days before harvest).
I did talk to my friend that owns the hydro shop I go to today and she said she uses a low dose of cal/mag every feeding, but the h&g is supposed to have enough in it.
Sorry, I can't give any advice on soil because I haven't grown in it. There is a big difference though because coco is a stable medium so your res matches the medium and as tolerance can tell you, if you fuck something up, you flush and start over and it's all better. :)
Oh and in coco I run ph'd to 5.5
