lighted ones are complete junk,. only find those at grow stores or amazon,.. wouldnt find that shit at a science lab store,..
belomo, bausch & lomb,.. triplett glass lenses,.. if a loupe has a light it’s complete junk,..

those things fall apart, plastic lenses.. blurring..
a true magnification to see trichomes properly would be 10x 15x..

I’ve got a Bellomo! In my opinion, they are too small and are useless at night! When covering a lot of plants! I don’t have any problem with the cheap lighted ones! They are clear enough! I guess we will have to agree to disagree!

small compared to what? why at night?
you get complete full surface focus,
you’ll be lucky to get a focal point with those amazon ones and st that blurry,.
what size belomo you got,., the higher the magnification the smaller the lense,. hence why i have a 10x and 15x,..

I've got a couple and they're okay but so damn small. I bought an electronic microscope, hooks to phone or pc that doesn't work a whole lot better, can't have any movement so holding it is out.

When I bought my Samsung S10 last year the camera does a real nice job and I can get clearer pictures. Don't even need to use the micro app at this point but it sure helped with older phones

you got to be careful with stuff that’s not specifically made for the task,. all that stuff shows false or it’s enhanced etc but rarely true,..
i’m old and need glasses most times and the belomo’s work perfectly fine for me,.

Because Late in flower, it’s easier to spot cat damage or mold damage with a UV flashlight on a lot of plants at night! And I like checking the tri-combs at night! And it is spookier! L O L! Other than that, I rarely ever use one!

damn i wanted the 12x but i don’t think they sell it anymore, so i bought the 10x a yr or so ago to go with my 15x,.,
well it’s a good quality glass triplett loupe,..
can you open it and take a picture? i like to see the lens size,..

I will use it when I pull a leaf and sit down at a table with a light and inspect for pests! Works good in a controlled environment! It’s got its place!

I'll get the app, what both Chuck and GNick suggested. I'll be cautious about anything that may not be giving a true image. Right now, I just need to magnification inside and near the nodes to sex these hookers.

I use to walk the garden at night all the time. Loved the time I spent and there's plenty of my old posts here of me doing just that. I miss it but my body has changed the past couple years. I'm in bed by 8 or 9 and up at 5:30 like clockwork. The sun don't even go down until after 8 getting, or better yet, have gotten OLD.

My plants are way out back! I love going out at night! Can you get a lot more done inspecting at night! And all of the eyes shining back at you! The denizens of the night! L O L I take a pistol with me! Some of those Dennisons are pretty big! And unpredictable! Never had to use it! Mainly for a wild pigs!

Every time we tried waiting for them, they never show! They’ve done a lot of damage to my neighbors! I haven’t seen Any in a while! But I have a pond that has a magnet for a wildlife at night! Keeps things interesting!
