Anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing the yellowing? It actually looks beautiful but I don't believe it should look like this. These are 2 different plants and the only 2 of 12 that look this way. Both are different strains

How recently did you add that mulch? It looks like they got a very acidic bath. Your mulch would be my first suspect. Dyed or not properly composted wood chips can rob your soil of nitrogen and be acidic at the same time. Just a guess.

Our species has been selecting, cultivating, judging and in general manipulating the F out of this plant for own purposes. I'm sure stem bending and folding is an old game to challenge a plants suitability for further cultivation/refinement. The branch that split from the trunk has probably rooted into the soil. I'd be willing to bet that is a characteristic that some farmer noted thousands of years ago and decided that's plants tenacity needs to be passed on. We like to think we are at the advance of weed cultivation when we are standing on selections started thousands of years ago. Some strains seem much more trainable and some don't. What are your experiences?

I experienced just what u speak of this year. 6 different plants, all trained the same. Some created vertical branching, others not so much. Hence my Northern lights, which is becoming a branching monster, and my landrace Afghani, that just wants to grow up instead of out. Branches are stout, and don't bend easily

My Runtz is similar to the Afghani plant, but did make some vertical branches.

My 3 photoperiods been outdoors for 30days now. Plants were measured by me this morning just for shits & giggles and no i don't measured the pots they are in LOL that's cheat'in in my book. My tallest so far is the GG#4 at only 4 1/2ft the other 2 are only 3 ft. and 3 1/2 ft. My oldest auto is 24" and just going into preflower LOL. Trees are for the young'ins or folks with lots of help during harvest. I've got neither anymore. And i honestly do not miss breaking down 10ft or taller plants.
