To give you an idea of who I am, my first thought when I saw the waterfall pouring over the side was :
"Anyone mind if I work on my cannonballs??" (1000 gallon spa BTW)..

I can always work in cramped quarters, My girls can't. Plus floor space is meds for my patients. If it was 12' with my style it would hurt a lot. I would say how many plants across or down that 12' you want. You need to know whats going there rather then try to make something fit.Otherwise you will just be someone who makes the big boxes money.A lot of those kind of people around, try to fix things with money, rather then brains. @StoneyPufnstuff - Yeah, the beam is awesome for hanging the punching bag or lifting an engine.. but a bitch to frame around! :)
Probably using a wall AC/heat like in hotel rooms.. thoughts?

It may make a good beam to hang CO2 burner, fans, filter, or whatever else you need. Nice progress so far.

if you are running an ozone generator in your room when it is flowering it will fuck up the taste and smell of all of your flowers. You should research lung rooms. If you always have negative pressure via carbon scrubbed exhaust in your lung room then nobody will smell shit. ever.

Build Update: I would guess 85% complete. Drywall finishing and painting remains, along with hanging a door, running water and installing a shop sink and electrical panel(not needed right away, as already have electric in the room). Thought I would share some pictures including the before pictures.. dang the space was so nice before I started building!! :)

Before front and back...

Naw man. Not 85%... more like 50%! Lol. As you get closer and closer to being done, you'll find more and more little things that have to be done. It always happens! Haha

Besides that, you still have to run electricity, hang your lights, and run your ventilation ducting!

@Tank333 yeah, but I was considering the build of the 'grow' a completely separate project! :)

Legal, the Magnums are great, and if you need to air cooling is a good idea. But I personally would consider putting an A/C in there and running open hoods. The E-papillions have been getting good reviews and the Gavitas are also a great way to go.

I think the claim to the advantage of an open reflector is that the light energy does not get reduced after passing through a glass lens. This is true for all company's except one. Here is where cheaper is not better. Glass has iron in it by nature, any traditional lens will only allow about 86 % transmission. I am using a reflector that is 36"x42" and has a low iron lens that allows 95% transmission. Air cooling your lights does a few things for you, it reduces the ambient heat in the room which means running an AC less often but more importantly with this size reflector I can cover a 48"x48" foot print at 10" off the top of the canopy with no burn. The closer the light source the bigger the yields, hands down.
