Running out of room in the tents. Strawberry Cheesecake # 2 was the first to go since it seemed to possibly be a Herm. Gave it to a buddy who has an empty tent at the moment.
2 left under the SF4000 (moved the others to a different tent).
Sour Power on the right and All Gas OG on the left.

Haha! Exactly! Like I just turned the power on in Nazi Zombies lol.Love this stage. Look great man. Little electrocuted cotton ball popcorn nuglets of dankoscity
Awesome! SD used to be in abundance back in the 90s where I live. West coast had OG and we had sour diesel. It’s very hard to find now but it’s genetics are in here and hoping they are pronounced in this one.Plants are looking great. A buddy of mine is growing a bunch of different sour plants. I will be trying his seeds soon enough
They look duckin healthyMoving into week 4 of flower. I am happy with how everything is going, though watching like a hawk to catch issues and correct them before they become problems. I am glad I topped them.
The Sour Power (bag seed) is the star of the show. Not just because it is strong & healthy, but it’s a seed I found in probably the best smoke I had in 2020… or was it 2019?
Pungent, potent, sticky, bitter/sweet grapefruit and fuel. Very strong smelling and great tasting with a complex and wonderful high.
Very curious to see how this one compares.
Day 21 (Sour Power)

I’m not sure the finish time but I’ll be inspecting trichomes daily when it’s getting close. Will definitely give a smoke report on the “test buds” as well as after it’s dried and cured...if all continues to go well. Next grow might include seeds from a beautiful and delicious bag of Blue Magoo from last year. Haven’t smelled a blueberry strain that comes close since the original cut of DJ Short’s. Blue Magoo had a deep blueberry smell and flavor so, stay tuned if you’re interested.
Love those old crazy cartoons lol. Watching them now is even better.
It is only cause I like ya that I'm gonna toss this out there(cause I want to buy and grow it someday) but there is a thread here about searching for old school strains like you speak of. The shit we just don't see often or ever anymore. I think this might be the funkadelic https://dagga.garden/product/san-di...s-cut-kosher-kush-dna-x-original-90s-catpiss/Awesome! It’s funny because back when everything was Sour Diesel and Skunk, the occasional Strawberry Cough of Chocolate Thai if you were luck, it was taken for granted. It’s what all the good bud was. Northern Lights too. But now, it’s so hard to find stuff like these anymore and this might get me a few ounces of something that resembles them. I love the cakes and candies too but the market is completely saturated with them, and most of the “diesel” and “skunk” strains available are a laughing joke. I really hope the skunk genetics are found, that stuff was THE most potent smelling bud ever grown. Literally smelled like a skunk just got ran over in the street.
Nice! akbeanbrains has a Hawaiin Catpiss i want to grow. Nice. We gotta keep our eyes out. There are a few times decades ago that I'd crossed paths with the real deals. Early 90s Grateful Dead show shit you don't ever forget. To be honest I would have already ordered that strain but I am worried about the smellNice! akbeanbrains has a Hawaiin Catpiss i want to grow. Here’s the description
“Original Hawaiian import bud that was crossed to NL1 bred to F1 and backcrossed to the import. That was then bred to F2 and released to the public as F3.
"The ones with the long middle finger are the most ammoniated like the original import.”
Apparently this dude has some killer dank stinky old school phenos in his packs. He’s got a solid reputation it seems too.
Yeah as I understand it the circle of dead heads and phish heads were the ones holding tight to sour diesel and some other crazy cuts, passing them around their inner circle. Good thing they did too!Nice. We gotta keep our eyes out. There are a few times decades ago that I'd crossed paths with the real deals. Early 90s Grateful Dead show shit you don't ever forget. I’m grew a couple plants of Hendrix headband in a greenhouse this year.Thats a great idea…I bookmarked the link, thanks!
Nice! I wish some of those oldies were still around…it’s even hard or impossible to find Sour Diesel anymore and I’m at the epicenter of where AJ’s cut was in abundance! I think a lot has to do with legalization and all the new strains blowing up everywhere, people moved on from keeping those genetics going.
The Sour Power bag seed I’m growing was closest to a good SD I’ve had in a long time. I know it could be totally different but I’m hoping it gives me something similar. Either way it’ll be an experience to see what happens.
That’s awesome to hear. How is it as a daytime run and gun if you go light on the trigger? Morning smoke worthy? pep in the step? HahaI’m grew a couple plants of Hendrix headband in a greenhouse this year.
One is hanging and one is pheno is in a jar now. These phenos that are spot on to the old headband I got in the early 2000s late 90s. The structure is amazing, short and bushy with chunky nugs. Solid producer. One pheno was super coated in trichomes. The other was no slouch either. But one for sure is keeper quality for nearly anyones standards.
