Update:
Lowered the Scrog net into place today over the two older plants. I set it at 15 inches. This was 1 inch higher than the humidifier that i have in that cabinet (for now).
The "girls" are looking kinda pale. I continue to lower the ppm. I am down to 220. I kept drawing off a third of the res every other day and adding back the same in RO. I think i will stop here and wait for them to recover.
UPDATE:
The "Girls" are doing much, much better. Their color is getting better and all have very white roots coming through the net-pots.
PPM = 210 PH=6.1 RezTemp=64F
Update:
I don’t want to jinx myself or anything of the sort, but I think I may have turned a corner with the “girls”. Their color and size are much, much better. So much so that I decided to up the nuits, by 80ppm per week by adding 15 mil of cns-17 “grow” every Saturday (subject to change of course). That should get me to 600 ppm by the time I am ready to move them to the flowering cabinet in four weeks. It fluctuates between 800-1100 ppm.
The two larger/earlier plants are doing extremely well. Their color and texture have improved since I added the additional Cal/Mag and the CNS-17. The rate of growth has also evidenced itself. They are already through the scrog net (most of one, and a good portion of the other).
The stalks are green and healthy. They have lots of silica spots on them, which I have been told means that the Silica that I have been adding is being used. Apparently Train-wreck needs a lot of support assistance.
The root structure of the two larger plants located in the “Biggie” flowing cabinet is awesome! I can’t get a photo because of the scrog net; however when I lift the top of the rez and take a peek I can see roots coming out of the net pot as big around as a pencil. The smaller of the two plants have roots about 2/3 that size. Both are very white with lots of off -shoots.
Sorry but to far gone how? Lil out of it to re read.UPDATE:
Things are looking good. I have started using scrog net to control the height of the two older plants. I have also raised the nutrient level to 1140 ppm, I know that seems a bit high but this is a 40 gal rez still running the solution from my last grow. I refreshed the PlusLife & Hydroguard. I used the diluted 400 ppm left-over (i had flushed before harvest so ppm's were low, but not absent). I then boosted it with 20% solution of Silica and CNS-17 (grow); that took me to the approx. 800 ppm i have been running in the flower cabinet (Biggie). Note: the ppm count for Biggie is off by approx. 150 ppm from a hand unit.
The little girls are doing nicely. I totally expect to lose one of the 5, it think it is too far gone, but i am going to keep fighting for it. The problem child should be obvious. One of the girls had to be moved to the flower cabinet because it was needing more food than the little girls in the grow cabinet (DDRE).

Ive always fimmed and have had great success using that method, it seems detrimental to top the plant completely. when fimming instead of destroying the growing tip your just knocking it back a few days until it heals, and by then the side growth has had the auxins and caught up giving you more tops than topping would any day, just my two cents by the way mind. So keep up the great growing all the best Shedhead.Thank You.
Well as it happens...... one of the two older plants was "properly" topped. The other one i noticed that i did not cut the crown evenly or completely; because it appears that instead of the expected two branches I "think" I see three. I will know for sure in a couple of days.
These babies are auto train-wreck so i will probably only get the one shot to top/fimm. I have a scrog rig ready to lower into place when they reach 12 inches.

Update Time...
The "girls" are now teenagers. After boosting the feeding and additions by another 250 ppm up to a total of about 800 ppm in the grow cabinet last week , i moved them to the larger cabinet (5 out of the 6) today where the ppm is about 1150 ppm.
The older pair are growing rapidly and not nearly as "wiry" as someone noted earlier. I ran out of room with larger plant and left 3 stems standing and LST'd & secured w/pipe cleaners. That is the one i "Flimed" while topping. The other plant that was not topped at all is considerable smaller and is already starting to flower. This should be interesting.
I am going to be tight on space in a couple of weeks when the "girls" have spread out as well. The take away from this grow is that i want to limit to four plants in the cabinet at a time. If i stay with trainwreck, i suspect the i can easily cover my scrog rack with four plants.
I also refreshed the nutrients in the larger res as well. The ppm's had dropped to 900 ppm. I used 1/4 measure of all nutrients to raise the level back up to 1170 ppm (probe is about 120 offset from handheld reading).
UPDATE: Week 8 since germination:
Now we are cooking with gas!!!! All plants are going ape-shit
Glad i trained the first plant. The second is stunted, but I don't know why, it is from the same batch of seeds, same conditions of the larger plant. I moved the other five to the flower cabinet last week, It is obvious that i am going to have to sacrifice at least two of the five. Room is quickly becoming an issue. The flower cabinet will be growing out a total of 5 plants if all goes well. Again; note to self, four of this strain is going to be plenty for my 2x4x5 cabinet.
BLOOMIN' UPDATE!!!
Oldest two plants are 10 weeks from seed.
The ""girls" are 7 weeks from seed.
Things are going swimmingly well, however i am a bit confused.
the "runt" of the first two plants is in full flower; The larger of the two, which has been fastened to the scrog net; is just starting to show the beginning signs of flowering. My third set of plants; "the girls" are also growing well. So far i have been able to keep all five plants, lets see many flower.
So in effect i have three grows in the same cabinet. Controlling the ppm's is getting tricky. I don't want to over feed the youngsters or shortchange the plant in full flower. I changed the weekly feeding from "bloom" food to "flower" food. I also made sure to refresh the CalMag. I have only been adding it every other top off at 25-50% of full strength, for the entire rez. I think i will now move to 25% with every top off (usually 5 gal every other day).
Think ppms might be a bit high and looking like humidity might be a bit high also.
Gonna be really hard to satisfy those plants in different stages though.
AquaMan;
Roger that....
With all of that vegetation was putting out LOTS of vapor. I tried a few things but ended up just cracking the door of the cabinet with a 3/4 piece of pvc. That seems to provide just the right amount of ambient air to keep the temps down and the humidity down (the room has its own A/C unit).
It seems that the "girls" went into a brief growth spurt. they have almost caught up with their older sisters on the left. I am glad i tied down some of the tallest and left 4 buds to grow straight up.
Things are looking might good at this point.
To bring the ppm's down i simply used straight RO water for top-off (5 gal every other day). I have let the PH drift upwards and it is now approaching the point where i need to drop it back to about 5.6 or 5.7. 5 gallons of RO top-off (13 ppm), That works out to about a 12 - 12.5% cut in ppms with every top-off. (40-45 gal rez ). My target is 1100-1300 ppm. I will probably need to give'em a bump by weeks end; and that will be strictly bloom food. No more than quarter strength (i'll do the math later to make sure i don't go over 1300 ppm).
Water in the rez is crystal clear (sorry i forgot to take a photo before i dumped it in the trash)(never put test water back in the rez. imho)
Thats gonna get rough... tell me you not flowering in there right?UPDATE TIME:
Room is getting very tight but everything is healthy.
The first stats are from this past Saturday before top-off and feeding. the bottom two photos are todays current stats prior to adding 5 gallons of straight (no chaser) RO top-off water. If my calculations are correct then adding 5 gal of top-off should drop me back to around 1140. Then next feeding (in two days will be to do 25% of bloom food again) raising the ppm back to 1240 ppm.
Thats gonna get rough... tell me you not flowering in there right?
I have bad news I don't think its gonna happen. Anyway you can flower them elswhere... like anywhere. They are going to at least double in size and be way bigger than even just touching the lights.unfortunately, Yes. I sad in the beginning it was going to be "overcrowded" based on my previous exploits with the germ. process i did not expect 5 plants would survive to maturity. So more to your point, yield per plant is not going to be great. However I will be using the same seeds from the same supplier on the next grow so i will not drop more than four beans, then grow out whatever survives.
There is nothing in the grow cabinet right now so i may try and move one or two to that cabinet; or try to anyway.
Last grow i could not get anything to pop -n- grow; this time I have more plants than i have room for.
LST here I come..

:/ they are so beautiful too
