she is stocky, thick like lettuce, with wide leaves with a super frosty coat that produces better than anything I have seen since my federation mikado ten yrs ago. real dark in color (no purple) with a ridiculous lemon flavor and strong lemon scent. wish I had a pic for ya but I dont have any. There is a hard to find critical mass out there that is identical.

Just added my romulan back in the other day as well.

The black floor is probably slowing down your heat drop when you hit the a/c's...that black plastic will attract and store heat pretty good especially with the black lids on the buckets as well as the blue bucket itself not being covered......everything is a dark color in there right now so it is a big heat sponge and storage unit..

aighttt sounds killah! and mikado mikado mikado one of my boys from the east coast in jersey tells me thats all he would ever pik up out ther back in the day it was either that or sour d. never seen it or smoked it personaly but he swears by it. and the rom is a winner , id really like to get my hands back on the shrom its an acapulco gold X romulan ever seen her? :pimp:

Tex, I was thinking the same, I have panda covers cut for lids when I transplant. Im thinking when the plants are in place and with the chiller set in the high 60's being located outside the room, should aid in quite a bit of heat displacement....am I wrong? I know its only 6k btu, but the volume of water and being on a upstairs sub floor I should be pretty good, ya?

ALSO , I found one mini evap drain line was kinked and now seems to be cooling the room much better yet not perfect.

I ordered multiple packs of "federation" romulan, romulan x7of9, mikado, also dj short blueberry, mightymite x cali-o, nl#5 and something else I cant remember. Every order I made with him was exact (i did have friends complain) I still have saved several packs of the mikado for future use, If you ever grew it or smoked it, you would know why Canadians hardly ever sent that shit down here.....the professor did some of the best mid level breeding ever!! 45$ a pack back then! Shrom, never seen her, but my buddy has orig ac gold, and that thing is monstrous in the cali valley in summer!! next generation and federation were partners in the original days...pre 2000. They have some very old stock on hand still. Its a touchy subject and I wouldnt normally recommend them but they do have many of the non commercial early project federation strains they will sell. Give it a try, they are online. If its not off the early shit, dont scoop it. Their breeding is weak imho.

I have done some rdwc, flood and drain..I've tried many styles. For yrs I did soil because my method was simple. U.C being such a simple, clean setup I made the move. I used to be on other forums, a member that followed a similar style I noticed made the switch to U.C..... that was a huge factor for me!! YES on the scared question!! Good luck to you as well. I hope you post pics too...

Im shittin my pants and my ladies are blowing up in my 3x3 air stone filled tray, so I am feeling some nervousness right now... my partner just scooped 4, used 12xl from a local. Im worried about not being on top of my first roll too, thats why Im getting this one in at home. 15 min aint too bad man?! All last summer I drove 1.3 hrs ea way almost daily to get a summer project done. That shit sucked bad... fuckin bad!!

Rooms looking sick hogan! Except the ac to light ratio looks risky. I read most if not all your post but didn't see your temps. Have you ran all your equipment together yet? Curious to see if 4 tons can cool 10k. You were definitely right about the similarities in our rooms. I can't wait to see the output of both grows. Goodluck

I ran it for 3-4 hrs a couple times testing it out and then today for about 9 hrs so far and it seems good. I def need to cover the tops and was also thinking about some white panda runners on the floor, to keep the liner cooler. It keeps the room cold at any temp I like with no problem. Just getting it to cool itself down further is slow. I have been testing it at diff temps, mostly 68 up to 75 and then back down again. Everything is on except my dehuey since there is no 45+ humidity (or plants) yet....

Today I noticed a little algae in veg tray on the floor and its making me worry... I went ahead and started "zone" and tomo I may clean the tray and res. How worried should I be? the temp is 65 and the algae is a little greenish brown. Where it is on the roots, its only a very light film and the roots look healthy...I imagine the zone will fix it? The power went out and I believe caused the bloom coupled with the roots not really being covered..

Shit I hope its not a problem because I just put mine in with some algae on the rw cubes. Im using zone and my water temps are in the low 60's so i'll hope for the best and prepare better next time.

Ive had algae grow on soil and rw cubes with never an issue. usually on the top and it was always super green like seaweed. Once I got into bloom a week or so it went away. but in straight water with airstones is new to me... hahaha Im feelin like a newbie again.

Me too. Hey if we figured out how to run other methods we can figure out this one. With all these successful farmers on here im sure there's nothing they haven't seen. Just have to navigate through the issues as the come.

yep. Today I repaired a minor leak and the system is full of water for more testing.

I filled w r.o water after I cleaned, vacuumed, and wiped all surfaces. Now im debating on draining it for a fresher batch of water, or just adding 29% h2o2 and putting in the ladies...
I feel the water is decent, my ppm are 9.5 out of the r.o and the only shit was some pvc floaties and a couple dog hairs I netted out? what do you all think?

The leak thing also scares me, since the warehouse i rent is connected to others left and right, and water would def. flood thru. Ive thought of making a small enclosure with wood then pond liner to keep it all safe if something like that happened. Sounds like ur almost ready to go, when do you think the move in date is?

Sounds pretty damn clean. I say if she's holdin water and the sytems functioning properly, go for it! I've had my girls in for a couple days now and some roots are peaking thru the hydroton. They look like hell but i'll keep my fingers crossed and wait. Goodluck!

Im vegging in a 3x3 tray that is constant recirc with about a dozen airstones in it. water is prob 3" deep and I will throw up some more pics in a few.
I figured I would be in already but I have hit every roadblock imaginable...Oh well, I am close now unless this little root issue blows me out..

it always takes longer to get the first one going, so many minor details slowing it down, once the first ones going the rest will get easier. Crossing fingers so you dont get any root rot krap, read so much about those issues its scary.

Here is my veg area, just a simple 4x8 tent with a 3x3 tray and a few fittings coupled with a maxi jet 1200. Nothing fancy. Temp stays around 62-65 and its constantly recirculating.

Found the rez at Lowezz and it was perfect! 32 gallons.

CURRENTLY:
Rasp kush, kinda long and thin.
ACK, super stocky.
Romulan she was kinda burnt and ratty when got her.
Lavender's, small ladies on the left.
No real particular order, just stacked in there.

First photo is the Raspberry Kush and they are doing really well.
second photo is that ratty Romulan that I received. She is comin back nicely
also in that photo is a ACK that is having some serious issues. If you notice the ones on the left, they all look super healthy and that first one is doing horrible. the roots are brown and the leaves look burnt.

im posting pics of the roots and the leaves next for some help or ideas?
