took my widow light down was too busy to post iit tho.. got a lb from 12 plants in poor health. and a extra couple o off of a blue dream...

white widow. went a bit longer this run cause they had stressful veg time, I think 66 day ish...

Best thing I ever did was ditch my chiller set up and ice box set up I had a big chill king I also did the fan ice box set up like you have but had nothing but problems water leaking from condensation glass getting wet... You would have much better results using a window ac unit or even a small ac unit.. You're using the same power and getting less cooling... I have done both if a chiller was better we would be using one. And so would every other grower out there.

I can run 6k in the wintertime, sealed room and temps don't go over 80*. I have a window unit and a portable, they both cost more to run and don't keep my temps down. 1k btu other than the chiller wont do this.

how would you suggest i cool 6k on a flip? using aaw in a sealed room. for the record my only problem is humidity, same as when I ran a portable..

I have to cover 24k btu from the bulbs alone. in a 10 x 15 x 8 bloom room. I also planned to cool my 4 x 16 veg that has 2 t5 4-8 and a 400w mh. the 2hp chillking would handle this. right now my 1hp is capable handling 3k at night and 2k in the day, but its still winter. with some more insulation I should be good.

The issue comes down to controlling Humidity and what you want to invest in you're room for things to run smooth.. Window ac units, Chillers and portable ac units are very in efficient .. And when growing in a sealed room Humidity needs to be controlled. I started out with 4 k and a split ac unit and added 4 k with a chill king and ice box still have them sitting around collecting dust.. The way I did it was a mini split with two separate indoor fan units controlling two separate rooms..worked great and never looked back . You can control humidity with a de humidifier or exhaust the room at night.. But if what you are doing works for you then why change it.. But there is a reason that the chiller ice box set up never took off its only good for a very small room .. Nothing beats open hoods and a split ac unit ... NOTHING!! Or all the big growers would be using it.. JACK

I agree on the open hoods, any kind of bigger space is better off with them I am convinced. chiller is working for my setup here, I just need to upgrade it. either way I have too spend money on new ac tho.
