I'll probably get lit up for this post as well and sorry if I am interrupting but you both are right. Amino break down during the dark period in turn creates more trichomes and also extended light promotes photosynthesiswhichbcreates more trickle production. But you should just Irish as normal for this round.

All that would do is ripen the plant more. Just harvest as normal if there was a different way that added more we would all be doing it

plant ripening wouldn't be much affected by any 48 spell of dark or light. is it is not a sufficient stressor to alter biological responses to changes during its circadian clock. metabolic changes that would result in rapid ripening.
