If it look like mold and feel like mold hey its mold im guessing bad ventilation bcuz air should've kept the outside pot dry mold formed from it being moist plus heat i would say ...

Airflow is good I got exhaust fan with carbon filter, 12 inch fan underneath and 2 6" fans on canopy

Never had any issues, they grow nice and healthy!!!

The diff between the 2 is simply fabric pot can allow for roots to receive more oxygen through the pot .

I will continue to transplant to the 5gallon grow bags but they are really 3.5 gallon lol

Those are Auto Blue Berry Domina, sprouted same day, from Ministry of Cannabis in Spain.

The bags are 5 gal Vivosun, (I added the grommets) and the air pots are 5 gal Superoots . I don't know how to post a link. I'm an old.

If you have good air circulation then you are probably over watering. Definitely take care of it.

3 gal grow bags for coco. You really won't get any benefit from bigger and will use more water/nutes in bigger. Only possible plus is watering/feeding less often in bigger. No matter which you use, make sure they are on a rack or something above a drain pan or tray, not sitting in drain water.
