so true, Ken...but it does free up your mind (and your time) instead of wasting it on things that don't matter. Often folks won't take it because they will have to admit they were duped. Hell, they even had me fooled...... for a while. But I prefer the Truth over Bullshit any day.

Haha SH, I was popping Teweys in the 70's,...never liked Kool-Aid, I think Monsanto makes it!

I am done here. Continue with the fables and silly nonsense. :)

I hear ya, kolah. I'm just gonna sit back and watch the show.

In the long run. just as the housing market corrected (crashed) and took out all of the folks who truly had no cash/no down payment saved/no business buying a house in the first place...the MMJ "industry' will soon see a similar correction of it's own and will take out the folks who are only in it for the $$ and who took advanteage of the law and all of the other patients in state with their Main Street retail sales games.

No sympathy here on either front.

be well dude

His general or whatever just told congress on recorded tv that the military no longer anwsers to congress but to the UN???? A group of foreign nations but guess who pays for it. What else. His first exective order on jan 24 or 29 2009 was to seal all his records ie, birth certificate, ssn, etc. Why would any legit presisent want to do that??? He wants to force you to buy something or you are breaking the law. Obama who used to teach constitutional law just told the supreme court ie the judicial branch that it should not interfer with a law congrass passed , insurance, and that doing so would go against the will of the people yet he taught many students the judicial branch is there to uphold the constitution?? What do you think all the hoopla about that martin kid is for?? take your GUNS. I could state fact after fact.

Wake up. All the republicians are slime exept for Ron Paul but how could you vote for Obama after all this??? Bush is slime but at least he stated what he believed instead of tricky people. the system is broken.

Obama has gone insane and now belives his own propaganda
I never believed in this former monsanto pawn, who will let everyone eat the food he's not willing to let his own family eat. I'm glad you brought up executive orders as squiggly and others think that the president can't do anything about raids etc. I always thought he could use an executive order to get leonhart to do what he says or removed if he wanted to... I mean he has the power to take away rights from the people but he somehow lacks the power to control his dogs and/or won't restrain it.
In the words of bob "get up, stand up. Stand Up for your rights"
I personally liked the Tuinals back in the day, kolah. A little bit Red..a little bit Blue....

just remember to wash it down with water and NOT the media-provided Kool-aid...whatever color you choose to ingest
F the blue pill/koolaid, why would you ever choose ignorance over the truth? I'd rather know something bad was happening than be lied/tricked into a false sense of freedom/security.

Why does everyone think Obama could NOT stop this?

He is the fucking president. He can stop it anytime he wants.

He sicked his fucking dogs on us, at worst.
,
At best, he has done nothing to stop them from biting.
like was stated before this post it is an election year and it would absolutly polititical suiside (wow i suck at spelling) He would lose ton of all the old , rich, and idiot minded people who will always consider pot a drug and lets face it 90% of us smoke it cause we enjoy it not need it. But with that being said it is harmless, the facts speak for them self. The states that have stood up against the federal govt have balls and hopefully one day mine will... But lets be real about it , the fed govt if ever legalizes it country wide. You can bet it will be run like state stores or regulated like smokes. Which in turn will keep EVERYONE under ground still but lets at least hope the penility will be minor for a few plants in flower and they are educated enough to know the difference between male, veg , clones and seeds and not criminalize you like a cocaine dealer. They should focus on all the phony pill docters - ever wonder why there is 10 pain clinics on every block in florida.... must be because of all the old people retire there huh lol

LOL....

Why do I owe you an explanation?

Keep ranting about Limbaugh and the Sacred Party....lol...and of course the 99 %.

Gray Fox to Mother squirrel.......Gray Fox to Mother Squirrel......lol....I think they have it figured out.

An excellent question- of course you don't, unless you'd like your views to be taken seriously and for people to understand why you think the way you do.

It is a sign of respect of your views and intellect when someone DOES ask you to support your position, whether it's about gardening, good beer, politics, or anything else. If you choose to see that as disrespect instead, then how can you reasonably expect others to agree with your views, or listen to your opinions? What do others have to base your words on, if not a logical foundation of supporting evidence?

Nothing squirrely about that.

So what was the last protest you went to and stood up for states rights?....or anything else?

Last summer and fall, I showed up for local outings of Occupy Wall Street. I write and speak to my friends about what I see happening to our country, here on this forum and elsewhere, and I encourage people to inform themselves and to take up their rights and responsibilities as free citizens to act and influence their- OUR- government- as much as they can.

So, now it's your turn; What have you done for your country lately? Other than attempt to mock those who are trying to do someting, of course...

Ummm......says you.

I dont have to give you an explanation to validate anything.

I dont care if you agree or not. I have no interest in persuading you.....You will listen to my opinion though.

I got "likes" on my comments on this thread. Look like somebody found some "logical foundation of supporting evidence"....huh?

LOL...."Attack and mock".....?!?

Because I dont agree with you and squiggy?

Use the quote feature.

It will keep me from calling you a liar.

I marched with the 99%. And sat with our local Occupy protest.

I, too, speak and write on this forum and elsewhere....

Perhaps, unless you are interested in actually changing my mind.

If you didn't care about persuading me- or anyone else- why are you working so hard at it? Not anymore I won't, I'm pretty much done listening to someone get defensive rather than supporting their positions with reasoned arguments and evidence. It's a waste of time...

"Likes" is about a popularity contest, not answers. Play to the crowd sophist, but the way to wisdom does not lie with the mob.

I will thank you for teaching me one thing though; I had no idea that the ability to debate was such a rare skill.

I state my opinions because I wish to do so.

I'm not looking to be the Pied Piper here...lol...I promise

You seem to be looking for a fight with me...as you stated the need to question my statements from here on out...lol. This isn't the only thread you have seen fit to call me out on.

I'm gonna leave this alone.

I do not wish to fight with you. Nor do I care if I persuade you. Nor do I care for your opinion.

Political and religious forums are breeding ground for bad blood.

So I shall bow out in the name of respect for others here that dont want to read this shit and respect for you.

Peace and hippie grease homie!

The "New Jersey Compassionate Use of Medical Marijuana Act", which passed both the state assembly and senate with comfortable majority votes, is a lot less sympathetic to the herb than its name may suggest.
Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D-Mercer), one of the bill's sponsors, calls it "the strictest medicinal marijuana law in the nation."

The original bill would have allowed access to medical marijuana for persons diagnosed with a "debilitating medical condition," strictly defined by a specific list of ailments, including cancer, glaucoma, positive HIV/AIDS status, and seizure. But a series of amendments added to the bill would make New Jersey one of the only states to bar home-growing, making state-run "alternative treatment centers" the only legal access point to the healing herb for those with a prescription. Another of the amendments would also limit the amount of marijuana that may be dispensed in a one-month period to two ounces.
Ken Wolski, executive director of the Coalition for Medical Marijuana-New Jersey, told us this makes New Jersey the only state to prohibit home growing under medical marijuana legislation. "We certainly initially advocated for home cultivation, as the 13 other states have it, and that was taken out, which is unfortunate," he said. But Wolski said that even with the stricter language, the law would bring relief to many people. "There are restrictions in the New Jersey bill, yes, but there are also mechanisms that will allow for greater access as time goes on."
Not everyone is gung ho about that prospect. In fact, Governor-elect Chris Christie, a former U.S. attorney, is uneasy with the current bill precisely because of what he calls a potential "loophole" for expanding access—: a clause in the original bill that allows other medical ailments to be included in the list of "debilitating medical conditions" at the discretion of the state health department in addition to those already in writing.
California's experience with medical marijuana has New Jersey lawmakers taking a different tack. "I think we all see what's happened in California. It's gotten completely out of control," said Christie to the New York Times.
Despite some objections, the bill is expected to be signed into law by lame duck Gov. Jon S. Corzine before he leaves office next week, the New York Daily Newsreports. But it will then be up to the new administration to implement the law. And if the governor-elect has given any indication, "control" may be the key word. this was june of 2010 and the first seed does not go in the ground till june of 2012 in the casino area ..... otherwise the slums as all but 1 of the other 5 sites were shot down as Christie says he will not put a dispen where people dont want it.... but why dont we educate the people and let them know a dispensary will not lower there house value, will not turn there area into a criminal haven .... look at all the beautiful coffee shops in amsterdam and realize pot is not addictive, therefor you will not have fiends running around..... well needless to say its two years from law being pasted and the first seed will be planted, i feel sorry for the needless suffering people have gone thru during this time....... fuck you Christie
