What about accidental tipping over of the cups when you trying to put it back in place.. I can't tell you how much times I loss seeding like this..As a temporary fix until you get a new sprayer or something else figured out, you could always use a tub or tote filled with the water/nutrient mix, then take them all and dunk them 2 at a time. That's how I watered all my hemp starts before I planted them in the ground. Just used a 40 gallon tote.
Might not be as easy using plastic cups but I saw they've got holes in the bottom, just put your fingers over the top so the soil doesn't spill out when you dunk
