Oh man you have auto watering? I think they gonns need 20x or more a day at peakIm not going to this round, lol.
It took about 4 hours cutting the holes, filling the cups and placing them, then watering them another 20 minutes - 5~gallons
See how tall I can get them, wanna utilized as much height as possible
Wanted to see how the perlite air exchanges holds up to your guys hydro if it even comes closeWhat size are you up potting to?
are you sticking with the 80% perlite? Gonna have some crazy watering needs but if you can meet it I foresee extremely fast growth
Nope, manual.Oh man you have auto watering? I think they gonns need 20x or more a day at peak
Yup thats prob a good idea… if you can keep them watered enough the growth could be as good maybe better than hydro but i kinda feel the time its going to take them to mature will be to long to sustain enough media for root mass. The will likely bust out of the cups.Nope, manual.
Yeah it’s gonna get bad lol
I am thinking about sitting up a drip, using siphon/gravity if possible with 196 nozzles…

I hear ya, I thought about using slightly bigger solo cups as well but already had a fuck ton of theseYup thats prob a good idea… if you can keep them watered enough the growth could be as good maybe better than hydro but i kinda feel the time its going to take them to mature will be to long to sustain enough media for root mass. But hey this is going to be a great learning experience any which way. Clones id say you may pull it off but i think you have some up potting in the future or other means of getting a bit more space for the root mass you will see by the end.
You‘d be surprised at how inaccurate some of the grow info passed on can be. As long as you have enough for the root mass and can keep the eater and nutrient requirement up they will be fine. They dont NEED any more space than the root mass but thats not to say it cannot be beneficial. Now with organics or slow release you would not be able to do this.I hear ya, I thought about using slightly bigger solo cups as well but already had a fuck ton of these
The medium will get completely consumed, I’m curious how tall I can get them, “sustainably” and how much they’ll grow, suppose it would turn into “hydro” at that point anyways cause it would have to use CLF
Thanks for your input, was waiting for you OGs to look at this and go this crazy dumb fucker gonna be chasing his tail on this lol
Will definitely be pruning, might not top as much or early or at all so they’ll grow upYou‘d be surprised at how inaccurate some of the grow info passed on can be. I have a feeling you will need more room for roots but there is a chance if you prune both foliage and roots as needed you MAY just pull this off
You should see what happens when i break out the crayons… lets just say if anyone needs to forge a preschooler im your guy.Would
Like them to atleast reach the net
But ima need different net with more proportional/smaller squares for the cups
I am not artistic so here’s a rough drawing of the drip idea
Using a raised reservoir to utilize gravity (?)
HahahaYou should see what happens when i break out the crayons… lets just say if anyone needs to forge a preschooler im your guy.
id say hope for 50% + males
How about sheets of rockwool under the cups?Yup thats prob a good idea… if you can keep them watered enough the growth could be as good maybe better than hydro but i kinda feel the time its going to take them to mature will be to long to sustain enough media for root mass. Yes that may work… it makes sense that you can cut the bottoms and use RW slabs. Great idea broHow about sheets of rockwool under the cups?
Bagseeds I crossedThis is quite the adventure you're starting! Could you explain the benefits/reasoning behind 4 on/2 off light schedule? I've never heard of/seen that one before. What are the parent plants for your strain you bred?
