Wedding cake clone from hendrx, looking frosty and getting thicker! I thought this would be a total flop. It will probably smell like neem still, but till I need the room I’m letting it go, it’s really pretty.

With the herer and the dosido, the runts ended up being male, I’m curious what yours do, I’m sure they are all different

Changed the lights around in the veg tent.

Someday I want a good led for veg, until then I pulled the 2 small t5 from the seedling/clone tent.
100watts t5 6500k is better than 135watts of 5000k with the cfl I think. Seems way brighter in the tent now, and I think seedling/clones will like the warmer light. I’m going to put both cfl in the seedling tent, or maybe use one of my floodlight leds,will see how it goes. Should I lower the lights to a few inches above the canopy? I am always unsure of how close.

did some defoliation and training on melon

I think I see the calcium/magnesium deficiencies in the new plants I had in the coco mix.

Half the coco was treated, the other half I didn’t treat. Mixed it all together with some ocean forest and perlite 1-1-1 33% each. I wanted to see if I could create the deficiencies on purpose, but mild enough I could treat it. Probably not the best idea with a finicky mother plant I want to clone.

The romie in just of and perlite is already better looking. It was in some of the blend.

Watered a few things with stronger nutes to see how it will do, the romie and the young herer. Also the solo cup entry. I’ll check later today to see how everything responded.

Wedding cake I’m beginning flush, had thought about letting it dry one more time, but since it’s not really done I’ll go maybe another water or 2. Going to use Some of the sample hardener sweeteners on it, then the enzyme flush for the end, or maybe it’s the other way around?

Got my first 2 stages fairly well dialed now, see how these guys grow, not planting any seeds for a while lol. Actually considered using veg tent to flower but I don’t have good enough lighting.
Going to have to stunt the growth on some of this. May already have, it’s all in the coco blend. It all might have deficiencies. Was curious to see how the treated and untreated

This picture tells me what I need to know. From now on it’s simple. Ocean forest with minimal or smaller perlite and or vermiculite. Is vermiculite even a thing? The young herer are doing exactly what I hoped.

going to use the 5” square pots also a few square 7” pots and try to make 8-10 small plants like the young herer, it’s for the variety and experience, 3 bigger plants would probably yield much more, but I’d have much less involvement. Maybe that’s a good thing I’m spending a lot of time and money on this.
