Ah, than unless you have severely stressed them (usually heat extremes) I wouldn't just assume yours will be prone to be bisexual. & if that is the consensus on that co's strain, I might try a dif company. Breeding is not something about which I'm not very knowledgable, maybe I'm over simplifying it, but if the product easily hermies, it seems like it may not be sound breeding. Or maybe it's just a really picky strain...dunno. Keep me updated.

Super cropping is safe? ....im afraid if i flower now and wind up with 1 female ill have a crappy harvest. If i wind up with 5 females ill just be lucky and i can pick and choose.

Make sure you know what it is, & your doing it right & it's perfectly safe. I wouldn't do it if you are in flower already though.

Cropping can be done any time in the grow as needed. The plants don't mind being bent around at all. Plus it usually increases yield. I have never developed flowers from cropping. Look what your doing to the plant with LST. A lot more stress then cropping. One of the most stressful things that is overlooked is taking a lot of close up flash shots as they finish. Keep them happy!

Just tried re-reading this thread but I'm stoned like a big dawg tonite and can't find it.... what kind of lights are you running over that? cfl or T8's?

Plants look great, just concerned after you get them sexed and that screen filled in with your vertical limitations, those plants are going to double at least in stretch when you flip them so it will be interesting.....

What I'm saying is as far as flash shots. After they develop buds try to limit close up flash shots. They are as sensitive as we are to flash. I have super cropped many plants and never have had a plant pop herm flowers from this. You need to relax and let the plants do there thing. They are looking very nice. Your learning a lot with your set up. Just keep it up!:)

I am using t5s for lighting. I watered today. No signs of male or female. Ill try and veg another week or 2 before the flip. They are staying pretty stout so far.

I had some good luck separating some of TGA genetics for stabilization. I also experienced some extra work to determine zygousity of some of his hetero and homozygous strains. I didint find any unusual ancestory in his 2002 - 2007 lines. TGA - And as always with cannabis, the term hermies used on this site, produced some outstanding champs and duds (hermies) for those who didnt go that extra mile to breed for the . When a TGA hemizygous plant is determined is when TGA genetics can produce super champs but lots of work so his new stuff , penny, 9lb well IDK but the old gear has some good plants rite out of the seed packs

His Jack lines
Ive seen some good DairyQueens.
On a sour note, TGA had some hermies that could pollute the garden so we know that those Jillyeans had both legs of the chromosone, now at that point we can determine that is at least hetero and homozygous strain.

I get people pist on this site so I dont like to go there anymore. When we created the 1st extinct Yellow Bison from 20 decade bone marrow we did some Jurassic park shit with Chinese hamster ovary cells but with plants it less tedious to propagate from plant ovules if you good with a scope. Cant give to many more details without getting shit from partners and ignorant peeps but this is the best way once you've determined hemizygous to get champs

Ya I saw that. Definitely lots of pissing matches in the GMO thread but there were so many trolls and good solid info from so many directions I think the purpose/direction of the conversation lost its way.....
