Beautiful work!

Thank you! My phone updated and the photos are a lot more colour distorted now unfortunately. I think I will be leaving the light intensity as is from now on until its time to start ramping down. The plants are mostly green but some of the tops are looking a bit light. Looks like we will get a nice fade on at least a few of these plants, looking forward to the show!

Its really nice to see the plant structures take shape and its been a good learning experience even if I didnt reach my goal in the end.

My Zanjeer seeds had really low germination, I ended up with 1 plant from 10 seeds. I started some Syrian seeds from The Real Seed Company as replacements. Looks like I wont be able to preseve the Zanjeer line in regular form but Im hoping for a female I can self pollinate to at least give me a 2nd chance at a hunt. I am keeping clones and will be getting them tested before making selections since I am seeking a more balanced cannabinoid profile for the next project.

Day 43
78f/45rh ~1000ppfd
I will be dropping the humidity to 40 for the last week or two of flower soon. Im thinking these plants will mostly go to 9 weeks.
There is some foxtailing on one of the plants which I have reduced light intensity by 100ppfd for now. Will be keeping an eye on it but it might be genetic since its sisters are happy at similar light intensity.
One of the tall phenos looks like it might be throwing some stamens in the apical buds, keeping a close eye on them for now.
The first photo is of my favourite smelling and frostiest plant, its bud structure isnt terrible but its plant structure is sub par. I would keep it for further breeding work since it has an amazing smell of watermelon berry koolaid, but it was also the first to throw pollen sacks.

Day 49
76f ~40rh ~800ppfd
Fox tails galore, I dropped the light intensity for both the fox tails and as the fade gets rolling into harvest. The tempertures are down a touch due to lower light intensity but not too much due to lower relative humidity.
I'm hoping to wrap these plants up in 2 weeks, probably starting next weekend with 1 or 2 of the earlier plants.

The lone Zanjeer survivor, hoping for a female plant.

Day 56
76f ~40rh ~800ppfd
I got too lazy to harvest this weekend and I like a good couch lock so will be harvesting everything next weekend. I figure this will also let some of the foxtailing mature a bit more while also letting the buds colour up more. Loving the fade but I think I should have top dressed one more time this run.

The plants were cut today on day 62 of flower, day 108 since planting. It was really interesting to see the variations on smells and structure. There were 2 plants with the gas terpenes but varying bud structure, the other 4 were mostly fruity smelling with 3 different bud structures and 2 different plant structures. I found what must have been a sterile hermaphrodite on 1 of the plants, there were minimal seeds.

The project was a failure but overall a great learning experience and another notch in the belt in terms of experience with plant sexual stability.

Im discarding all seeds and wont be growing this particular variety again from the same breeder. The plan is to turn these plants in extracts once they are dried.

Ill add a link here to the Zanjeer and Syrian grow diary soon.

Thanks for watching!

As promised please follow along my indica landrace grow diary.

Indica Landrace Clone and Grow

Here is my plan: 6 Syrian (10 seeds, 1 mutant, 2 males 1 never germinated) 1 Zanjeer (10 seeds, accidentally let them get too dry I think and lost all but one just after germination) Here are the plants, just transplanted to 2 gallon pots, switching to flower shortly (~1 week) once the roots...
