ph pen and ppm pen amazon 20 bucks cheap but get job done,also your best friend when it comes to issues,you run these numbers by stage of life and hard to screw um up,boasters are the worst thing to do on plants in my opinion,some work but only if garner know what there doing,other wise they lock stuff up,get a ph pen and check your mix going in ,water to runoff,check that runoff water for ph and ppm then you will know what up,if that ppm is really high,looking at a salt buildup,so check it
