Hello all, I'm about to order some more lights for my room, my question is can my split system ac handle it? I have a Sanyo 24k btu split system. And I want to have 8, 600 watt lights in the room all hanging verticle. Can my ac handle that??? I would greatly appreciate any input.

I'm using 2200 BTU's per air cooled light righ now and my a/c works fine for me, I can drop the temp down to 72 with out a problem. My a/c hardly even runs and I burn
Co2. I have not had a chance to run the room throw the summer so I cant say how the room is going to run with outside temps pushing 100+. I also have all my ballast located outside of my room.

I think you would be fine with the A/C you have.
