Mine are doing the same thing. I was going to submit warranty to see if they would replace them, that's how I found the free upgrade.Just submitted a request to replace both of mine. Hopefully no more clicking noise.
The bearing on mine is SHOT, do definitely doing it. Build quality is garbage on gen 1My understanding is no matter how many you have they will replace free! It also says you get to keep the Gen 1 version, we are all going to have lots of spares!

How long did it take from the time you submitted the request to get the Gen 2? Curious what the turn around time is.My Gen 1 started clicking bad while oscillating. They already replaced it with another Gen 1. Now my Gen 2 will be here tomorrow. Three fans for the price of one, because they want to get it right, is some damn fine customer service in my book.

I got the same one yesterday right after I submitted. Nothing since then.I just got the same one not to long ago.
Just got my order confirmation for my fan that was fast only a couple hours after I submitted my form

Thanks for letting us know. That's the first one I got also but the second email I got said it could be 3-4 weeks to process my request.
