I got this:

I got that same message but then 8 this evening, I got an order confirmation so I'm thinking it's going to be quicker then we think but they are sending the email to cover themselves just in case. Website still shows it's in stock but like someone said above, it is awesome what they are doing and no big deal if it takes a little longer.

it will happen just be patient ac infinity is a stand up company , i do not know of any other company to even make an offer like this
the way i see it it's free cant complain if it take a little longer to get it
I'm not complaining. I was thinking, however, that the new features would motivate me to run it from a controller. The problem is, I don't have any open ports on my controllers. So, now I'm thinking of getting one of their new 8-port controllers.

i got mine plugged into a 5 dolla wall timer from wal mart comes on for 3 hours off for 30 miins

i got these motors from china for 1,25 each and fixed mine lol
Thanks for the tip and the link. I will do the same, that way my spares will at least be more reliable. Installing the different motors doesn't mess with UIS/Controller 69 functionality right?

I have mine running on controllers that were included with my exhaust fans. The specs for the Gen 2 fans have new features that can only be used with their programmable controllers.

If you're talking about the wind and oscillating modes only being able to be used with the Controller 69, according to the manual on their website the modes can be activated with the push buttons directly on the fan.
