After last Nute feed on Saturday (General Hydroponics 2MLMicro and 2MLBloom + 2ML Cal-Mag) which was half the recommended dose - I noticed that some of the leaf tips have turned brown - and a few leaves at the bottom have turned yellow - not sure if it’s Nute burn or the plant reaching end of its cycle. I flushed it today with fresh water just in case it’s a Nute burn.

I think the buds still need another 2-3 weeks to mature. So do I feed my plant again on Saturday, considering that 2-3 weeks left till the buds mature, or do I just continue with fresh water only till harvest?

ph'd water is the way I would go. May add some calcium if its not in your water.

I would just make my next feed with a lower PPM than the one before, and use that as your flush. Now is not the time to rob your plant of bud building food with only 3 weeks to go. If you flush with water you could wind up chasing your arse with deficiencies brought on by the flush.

Week 11 Update: So my White-Widow Auto is in its 11th week. Sharing some pictures, I think another week or so to Harvest?

Trichomes are cloudy, and “hairs” have started to turn darker (20-25%).

I’m just a bit concerned about one of the fan leaves that started to show nute burn signs a couple of weeks back, and in last 10 days a few tips have also yellowed in one of the buds -

Should I be concerned? Given that plant is only a week from harvest? Rest of the plant is fine, as you can see from the pictures in my previous post.

Even if you correct the nuit burn the leaves will carry on showing signs for burn well after you make changes, look to your new growth to see how your plant is doing. Just keep going with what your doing. And keep feeding. Still quite a few white hairs to turn yet. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks left, remember that over feeding slows growth.

Thank you for the feedback! - l’ll keep on posting progress on the plant - The yellow leaf tips got me a bit worried - but everything else is okay, I’ll wait for another 2-3 weeks till some more pistons turn darker.

Just make sure you backed off the nuits a bit to stop the burning and you should cruise this grow.

Yes I’ve reduced the feed strength to 1/4 of the recommended dosage.

Week 16(germinated Sept 15th) Super Skunk auto. Posted in another forum, I thought I'd add here. The pics of the buds were from 10 days ago. They've filled in significantly since! Shes a beast!

You have too much compost in the mix.Be carefull, dont add more N with your nutes. Also compost retains more moisture and it could be hot on fertz, mostly veg ferts usually( it depends).....Not always best when the plant is flowering or if it is auto:)The base(the peat in that case)should be more, about 40%, more perlite-about 40% and just a little compost-about 20%.....:)

Has anyone used FFHF soil for autos? Do you or would you add anything to the soil? I'm trying to keep it budget friendly. Thanks!

Yes, no. Wait until the plants start to stall or look hungry . Ffhf comes pretty "hot"

I was talking perlite or a filler. I am doing a grow journal here https://www.420magazine.com/communi...me-grow-catching-you-up-on-the-action.458315/ but going to do WW autos next.

Hi guys: Week 13 update for my WW auto-flower.

Buds have stopped growing, leaves were turning yellow with brown tips. I have been flushing the plant for 2 weeks now. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, very few amber (only at the top probably becasue of the light exposure). Pistols are about 40-50% brown on buds at the top, but lower buds still have quiet a few white hair.

I have removed most of the leaves from the plant today, as shown in the pictures.

Before I completely chop it, do you think it would be a good idea to keep the plant under grow light for a couple of days more?

I would keep them under the light until all the hairs are brown.

I ran ww autos in coco.
They got a lol larfy and kept shooting white hairs .
I dono genetics or what .
It'll be ok smoke , but that auto shouldve been done. 13 weeks since putting the seed in soil.
Its not gonna "harden" up.
I just took the mature buds and left the undergrowth to grow more.
My .02
