If you want good weight check out DUTCH PASSIONS ( THINK DIFFERENT) everything I've seen is big..Google search it.For light though you may need more like a 600 HPS w/ your 250 wt you have,if your wanting 4 plants.Think different gets LRG.like Auto said check out @ seraphims Pages he is the auto man.

@Keegscole you have already got some excellent advice from the guys and there is not much I could add, I will however say that in addition to think different there are a few more big, high yielding autos that I have personal experience growing, so if you are going for size and don't want to lose quality I would recommend any of these from dutch passion. Think different, auto extreme(more of a sativa heady high), auto ultimate, auto white widow, and auto blueberry.

Good luck with your grow mate

ok so do you think the 400 watt and the 250 watt will be enough for four plants?

I think your expecting too much with minimal investment. I've grown with CFL's, a 600w cool tube and a 400w setup twice now. with running CFL's your lucky to get a 1/2oz per plant. It may look like more until you dry it, then the fact the buds aren't very solid really affects your weight. If heat is your issue, then go with LED lights, not CFL if your biggest wish is yields. If heat is no issue, well then the more Lumens you put to the room the better your yield will be, the tighter and larger your buds will be etc etc.. the 2nd biggest factor to affect big yields has nothing to do with feeding the plants, and everything to do with how long you grow them in a vegetative state.. simply, if you veg them for 3-4 mos, top them a few times on each growing shoot and do some tying down here and there with string. Your yields will increase BIG TIME.. but, most of us don't have the patience to veg this long. So, with your current setup I"d say, find yourself an Auto Flowering plant and grow grow grow.. I just did 3 AF plants, my 1st ever grow of Auto's and made plenty of errors along the way and still ended up with 1 - 1 1/2 oz per plant dry which is not great, but not bad either for a 400w light.. and all my mistakes.
I don't know enough about them as of yet to recommend any to you.. but this 2nd generation of Auto's, many of them have AK47 in the cross to add size to them, so look for that.. and I think Seraphim19 has some at auction and he has plenty of experience to know what to recommend to ya.. good genetics aren't cheap, but research them well.. luck bro..

OH man, your going to be so glad you decided on a 600w.. check out cool tubes man.. that with a good inline fan to remove heat will save you many a headache and it makes it so you can get your light closer to plants without burning them too.. and with that setup you can choose either Auto or regular seeds to grow out. If your truly a newbie, which hey, at one time we all were right, I highly recommend you check out seeds by Motarebel. Of all the genetics I've grown, had the highest return of germinated seeds and most are easy to grow. stay away from anything with Blueberry in it as it can be a real finicky plant to grow out.. check out his Killa Queen maybe. It is a cross of Bubba Kush x Killa Queen giving it all the nice genetics many search for like: OG kush, Chemdog, Lemon Thai, hindu kush and Pakistani... good strain to get started with... peace

Bubblegun: AK47 x Sour60 smoke report #1.. I call this smoke report #1 because I have 3 females with slight variances between them. I harvested them at day # 54, 58 & 60.. The 60 having just come down so be a bit before anything is dry enough to test.
#1 @ 54 Days = A bit racy, most likely related to chopping at all clear trichomes.. but I do this on all 1st grows of a strain to truly test potency, I harvest at clear, milky and 50% amber. The 54 day plant brought in a solid oz and was a great daytime early am smoke as it was uplifting and energetic. Flavor was bubblegummy sweet, high came on very fast, lasted about 2-3hrs.
Smoke report #2 @ 58 days: Wow, what a difference with the milky trichomes.. potency was double, a very narcotic smoke that almost gave you a hangover in the morning.. flavor was full on Bubblegum lip smacking good, yield was about 1.3 oz dry. Buds were getting tighter but not super tight like an indica dom strain gets.. this is the AK47 affecting the buds as I grew it for 2yrs and know that's how they grow with putting most of the goodness in the last few weeks..
60 Day is drying, stinks really bad and is so sticky you really can't even touch the stems.. this one is a good mix of everything with skunky raspy x bubblegummy.. cannot wait to cure all these a bit and report more to ya...
And so far I've harvested over 100 seeds of this from all 3 pheno's to keep playing with her.. cheers.

how much do you think a plant that produces 600gr/m2 will produce per plant?

Well, one thing you gotta remember is, this is best case scenario with their best yielding phenol type and usually hydro and not dirt to achieve these numbers.. not to mention the years they've spent dialing in this strain. Best you can do is plant the entire pack of seeds, grow out all the ladies, and personally I keep the best male to make a few seeds as I hate buying them.. lol , clone all the girls and see which one has the best yield, potency, etc and this is the one you work. Now your 2nd grow with clones of your biggest girl, you can expect with good conditions in dirt, indoor, approx. 4oz per plant and this is a good high estimate.. there really are so many factors that come into play.. how long you veg is a big one, people tend to rush things and then get mad when they get an oz per plant.. trees make for big plants.. my buddy just achieved 1/2lb from a nice OG clone, but he vegged it for 4 full mos.. so from root to harvest, 6 1/2 month grow period... yeah. Shoot for 3oz per plant your 1st run and good luck bro..

Just a quick heads up for the people following this thread!
I am about to start a colloidal silver reversal/feminised seed run thread, so if you want to see the process of reversing a plant and creating fem seed from start to finish keep an eye out.

Right on Seraphim, glad your doing that thread. I've made Feminized seeds twice before but I did it by stressing the plant with strange light cycles for a few weeks at the right time and caused it to hermie and self pollinate.. hahaha.. yeah, I was young and not to wise way bad den.. lol.
Quick question: The seeds I just made from the batch of Bubblegun.. if I used a male from the same batch of seeds would that make these then F2's ..? thanks for helping me learn along the way m8te..

the seeds you just made are F1(filial generation 1)

if you grow these seeds and cross a male with a female they will be F2(filial generation 2)

if you were growing a photo version of your seeds and grew 1 female took a cutting and turned it to produce pollen then pollinated the original F1 plant you would create S1 seeds(self generation1)

if you grew an F2 plant and crossed it with a F1 plant you would crate BX1(back cross generation 1)

but don't get hung up on classifications, for now I would recommend that you create f2's and try to isolate the traits you are looking for.
I am sure we will have a catch up and talk about the breeding process mate.
