hi'a all!!

This is my first grow, im planning on growing a few trees in 9 gallon soil pots and im going to use advanced nutes.
I need to know how many gallons of nutrient solution should i feed one plant of this size??. I've seen this question asked a lot but never answered clearly.

need your help boys n girls,

don't want to burn the shit out of my babies!!

you have a lot more reading to do sorry to say

its not the amount of mix that will burn plants its the strength of the mix

I'll make it simple for u bro this is how I do it and works awesome first off fuck the label the recommended dose will kill your plants . All rite this is the simplest way I have found to use and when you plant are small use the base at 4ml per gallon and the additives 4ml per gallon then once your gals gett bigger bump it up to 8ml per gallon on the base and 8ml per gallon on the additives depending on how many additives using this way will put your ppms at a max of around 1300 and this will give you big frosty donkey dicks and won't burn your plant small plats everything at 4ml per gal bigger plants everything at 8ml per gall u won't be disappointed it took me a min to figure this out but it works awesome and super simple I hope this helps an get a bad rep for being expensive but their bites are super concentrated and will last u a min peace

U planted some Babie's in 9 Gal. Pots? That's way 2 big.. It's better 2 transplant as the plant grows..

Now 2 ur question that's a hard question.. It kinda depends.. Ur in soil is it heavy soil or a light mix? Did u add plenty of perlite? Everybodys mix is different.. If ur afraid of burning ur plants then go light on the Nutes.. Start with 1/2 of what the bottle says.. If u mix in 2 much nutes then u will burn ur plants.. Not how much juice u water the plant with. Burning is from mixing 2 strong of juice 4 the plants.. Juss 2 b safe don't use any nutes yet juss water there still babies.. U shouldn't need any extra food added 2 soil until the plants get super big & eat all the nutrients in the Soil. & in 9 Gal. That might never happen... If u add nutes now plus the nutes in the soil that would 4 sure BURN ur babies.. If u use tap water juss use it as is.. If u use RO water (prolly not) then add only calmag.. After u add plain water u will answer ur own question.. Good luck

Oh shit my bad didn't see u were in soil bro I grow in pure coco and that needs nutes every watering if u used a hot soil I wouldn't feed until flower and then feed at the 8ml per gallon

First of all thanks for the input lads

Great advice! ill explain my situation a little further, i haven't started my grow yet,im trying to work out how much nutrients i will need to purchase for the flowering period as you said man there expencive but i defo want to go advanced i know they get stick but from the other grow vids ive watched advanced seem top notch,
yea when i said my babies i ment my future beautiful flowering trees (sorry im irish we never learned how to speak engrish proper) but nice one for the info on that, im going to be growing out a few big strains heavy yeilders. Flowering them in 9 gall buckets 80% soil mix 20% ver, thanks for the advice on 1/4 strenght ill do that but how much nutrient solution, not water, to you give each bucket? big difference in price if your mixing say 1 litre compared to 1 gallon per feed per plant! can i water first and then add maybe 2 litres of nutrients on top would this be enough? i want to get the best out my girls, not have them under fed or over fed, i contacted advanced about this and here there response

"The amount of water that you will need to use with your plants will depend on the size of the plants, the container size, stage/week of growth, room temperature and humidity. There is NO way of determining that theoretically and you will have to figure that out based on your particular setup. I would suggest watering your plants with regular, pH adjusted water until the plants get run-off, and measuring that volume. The containers should be dry every 2-3 days to ensure everything is proportionately sized and the plants are allowed time to dry.

thats a lot of solution haha ill be fukin broke lads i have a min of 30 buckets planned!!

what ye think the best way is to work out my nutrients costs boyz

Yea ur gunna b broke!! Welcome 2 growing killer Meds. Ur question is still very hard 2 answer without sounding like a DickHead.. Ur gunna run AN but AN makes a grip of different bottles.. Most people pick & choose which 1's there gunna use.. R u gunna run there whole line up? I use AN but it costs 2 much so I only use the Additives.. I can't afford there whole line up..
But let's juss make a guess 4 conversation sake.. I'm in 5 gal pots I use 3/4 gal.. Almost 1 gal per pot so let's double that 4 u.. Maybe u will need 2 gal 2 feed 9 gal pots.. It's juss a wild guess cuz there is no way 2 really no cuz different strains eat different amounts of food.. But will say 2 gallons times 30 pots that would b 60 gallons per feeding.. Juss a guess!! Now sence I have no idea witch nutes ur picking 2 run plus what additives ur gunna buy.. So I'm juss gunna give u a guess at only 1 bottle ok. Let's say ur starting flowering day #1 if u used Kushie Kush u would need 240mls for ur 60 gallon mix & that's only at 1/2 strength 480 mls full strength.. So ur gunna need 2 buy each nute by the gallon..U will prolly get About 3 runs with a gallon Kushie Kush.. I say get the Gallon cuz it runs a Lil over 100$ if u get it by the Liter each liter is like 40$ & u will prolly need 2 liters but member this is only a guess & I'm only calculating a 8 week strain & this is juss 1 bottle u will need many.. It will cost u mega bucks... Sorry I can't explain any more cuz now I got a headache I'm gunna smoke some Alien Dog Honey Buds!!

ye have cleared that up alot for me lads cant thank ye enough...

AN going to be way to pricey for this grow size bollex!, better if using in a recirculating system not drain to waste. jack h is one of the strains im growing out and if i get the right pheno i know she's a heavy feeder
Have to start stealing the rabbit shit from the pet stores again haha

Heard the dutch growers are using hesi a lot, cheep as fuk, looks simple to use might have to try that as the base and add a few AN bits, any advice on the nutes ye all use,,,
any of ye ever done any bigger grows?

There r alot of different styles of growing some bad ass growers say it doesn't matter on nutes it's all about the environment.. They say if the environment is dialed in perfect u don't need 2 spend a grip on ur nutes.. I've seen some great grows with Botanicare CNS17 u should peep OBS he is Super Mega Bad Ass & he produces fire with CNS17.. I've even seen some good bud grown with the Lucas mix.. Some people grow great stuff without spending alot of money on nutes.. But I only grow small time.. I use Flora Nova as base it a 1 part fertilizer.. It has everything already in the bottle but I still by AN additives 2 give my plants a extra kick.. But it's not needed.. I've even seen people grow with no nutes the juss made a Super soil with everything already in the mix they juss add water the whole grow.. Juss start 2 do lots of reading cuz on the Farm u can learn everything u need 2 know.. This is the best place 2 learn lots of great growers on The Farm.

First of all, you need to um, you know, READ what the bottles say.

Also, Advanced Nutrients has a nutrient calculator on their site, and apps you can download.

I agree with the other guy that says you need to avoid following instructions completely. You will want to see how your plants do and start with less than the bottles say you need to use.

Common sense, you know. Nutrients impact plants in different ways, so you need to make sure you're watching yoru grow carefully to make sure it's going well. if it's not, stop using so many nutes or diagnose another issue.

If the grows going well, then don't stop what you're doing.

good luck!

As far as burning your plants i would do alot of research on PPMs and EC(depending what side of the world you live in) before you start using advanced full line up and purchase a tds stick asap, when i used to use advanced i would get all my additives that id be using that week and add them all at half strength (except for bud ignitor, big bud, and overdrive, i use them full strength) to my RO water. after mixing i would TDS my solution and than take that number and subtract it from my desired ppm count. (so for instance if im trying to acheive 1000 ppms and i add all my additives NO BASE NUTES and im at 250, than i need 750 ppms worth of base nutes) so now id go to the back of the advanced base nutrient bottle (whether its connoisseur, or sensi bloom two part) where they have a chart that shows you how many ml per liter of nutrient you have to add to gain that many ppms, do your math and add as needed until your at your desired strength, and when it comes to watering if your feeding by hand id give them water until you see run off coming from the bottom of your pot, which will be a considerable amount with a 9 gal pot. hope that helps bro just keep doing your research and it will all come together eventually, practice and patience makes perfect

buy a 1litre bottle of sensigrow part A and 1litre of sensigrow part b their a canadian company so they will have it in litre bottles

Thanks for all the help and the input ladz, A bit of trial n error it seems to dial it in
ill start a journal soon and keep ye all posted!

Peace Out!!!

Use your best educated guess to what a light dose of nutes would be, then go lighter than that.

When in doubt pick up the phone and call Advanced Nutrients 800 number. They got some smart people working the phones.

bro i have been useing botanicare pro gro soil for veg and pro gro bloom 1-4-5soil wiyh cal amg and liqued karma and i use there hydoplex for a bloom enhancer i get big pphat sugar kolas man and i love there raw sweetner i use thru whole time and lu8sh out all sal build up like every 30 days or so i go more and i use half strenghth during veg and go full in bloom and hydroplex max on that just watch ur ph meter i use foxfarm ocean soil so ilread has hi ph so make sure after u mix ur ferts u chech ur ph u most aleays will need to lower it.so have some ph down on hand to lower it 6.1 is what i like then raise it to 6.5ish and end of bloom ...this works great for myself and is easy to use can be exspenseve but will last days bro with soil grows.........$crilla g

on a first grow going with 30 trees you are setting yourself up for some big mistakes and expensive ones at that. start them in small pots, geet a feel for how they react when they are growing, then by the time they are in buckets you should be confident enough to know what to do

I make it easy, water the recommended dosage on the label for 5 days straight, then 2 days of plain PH'd water. This way you wont over nute. Depending how big your plant and root system depends on how much your plant eat, so you gotta eyeball how much food it takes in everyday. Water till it drains, once it drains its fully fed. But if you water the plants when its extremely dry, it tends to drain real fast and eat up again, so make sure your plants get enough water.
