Can you only put one plant in each planter and have all your dwc planters fit?

I can have 8 fit in my 2x4, I already tested it, so should fit fine in a 4x4. It's the plant size that's a concern. If I could just have one huge main or a few colas on each one I think it would all work once in flower.

If you only used one side of the planter for a plant, the other side would make it much easier to do your reservoir maintenance. You would want to keep the hole covered. But when you're working with the reservoir you can remove it for easy access.
