Nice! This lends credence to the f8 claim!Fellow bam growers. It appears that as the plants get into flowering there really aren't any differences between the plants that would indicate multiple phenos as it looked in veg. Very slight differences in height and leaf structure as the plants mature. Very interesting.
I may be wrong but that looks like a Malawi gold type Sativa strain, very airy Buds???KwaZulu landrace... PURE SATIVA! View attachment 1151671
Looking at that I’ll definitely be doing some multiple topping…So first 2 pictures are nearly 3 days of no water/nutrients so i have got what seems to be a nitrogen deficiency, gotta get her them nutrients now. Did sit there and take a deep smell in (i dont smoke, but smelling these plants relax me which i like) and it does have a deep earthy smell in with, what seemed to me, like a slight mix of cinnimon amd spiced rum. Its certainly a unique smell from the other plants ive grown. Cant wait for when the buds start really forming. Also, i have only topped this one once, then light trimming, still new to the whole techniques and such.

Well she’s planted, root tail went from 1/16 inch last night to 1/2” inch this morning, Big and fat and ready to go…
Outdoors for next 60 days, Missouri high humidity high heat,
then to the tent ( torture chamber )!
Hope she likes UV…
According to my friend in coastal South Africa, KwaZulu is from just outside of Durban where he's from.I may be wrong but that looks like a Malawi gold type Sativa strain, very airy Buds???
Would be week 5 and a couple daysABSOLUTELY AWESOME brother! As I said, over and over... they're unique plants that are beautiful in their OWN RIGHT! BUT, just NOT the African Black Magic that I thought that I was ordering!Or else I wouldn't have ordered them! I'm really happy and excited to see such nice structure!
HOW far into flowering cycle?
I'm thinking about 5-6 weeks...?
Well, if that's the case, I'd say your flowers are spot on! When the plants are in flowering cycle and nearing completion of the flowering cycle they draw nutrients from the fan leaves indicate that the plant has finished properly without too much nitrogen duringflowering cycle! It's called 'Fall fade' or Autumn colors! It's perfectly natural for the plants to cannibalize themselves in the LAST few weeks into flowering cycle! Bravo!🖒
Happy growing and harvest!
Yes, Buds look thicker in that picture…love those long thin leaves…, what do u call the points on the leaves ?!? There very pronounced ;) never thought about it before !According to my friend in coastal South Africa, KwaZulu is from just outside of Durban where he's from.
Malawi is farther North and inland. Landlocked.
He said that he was going to send me both KwaZulu and Malawi seeds soon. So they ARE different strains. And then the AFRICAN Black Magic in a couple of months because they're not mature YET!
I will keep updates going on my friend and any seeds that I hopefully get.
KwaZulu landrace strain... not so airy.View attachment 1152104
You can get it from Marijuana seed connect? Or have I miss understood?View attachment 417553 I'm creating this thread for all those people who are obsessed with the African black magic strain.
The quest to find this strain shall begin!
Well personally I never encountered this strain but I have been researching it for quite a while now and this is what I can conclude I've been reading about a black strain of weed found in the Ituri Forest in the Democratic Republic of Congo and that the Pygmies of the forest smoke it and it is said to be very psychedelic, probably due to equatorial conditions this strain has adapted to high uv rays and probably started producing high levels of THC and THCV and that could explain it's high psychedelic activity . Just like many other African strains like Malawi gold, Durban poison, and Mulanje gold. If any of you know about this strain or other black colored or dark colored African strains please share some of you knowledge and let's try to keep this thread alive and solve the mystery of this legendary African Sativa strain! oh and I found some pics of it on Thcfarmer

As I said before, once in flowering there isn't really any significant variations between plants? Every hybrid I have grown has showed multiple phenos. I think you should wait for end result to make definite determination. Also, have you personally ever smoked it?Interesting and amazing story that I've read about 5 times! But thanks for posting it!
Happy growing!
