Question for those growing this strain.....Do any of you have a plant that is noticably growing faster and larger than all of the rest?

Can’t answer, only one bean grow on the row ! Wanted to see how my soil mix goes, so only round two will have multiple BAM, but ( I must say my 5 GSC Autos are the healthiest I’ve ever grown out of ~30 same strain same batch).

WOW! She's a beautiful beast! Is that dark/black leaves around some of the bud sites or is it shadow from light angle? 🤔 Definitely MUCH more Sativa looking than when it first started out! 😲 The high will be the ultimate determination IF this strain is the African Black Magic or something else! Can hardly wait for YOUR opinion! Either way, it IS an amazing looking plant! So we hope for the best! 😊
Good luck and happy growing brother!

Some of the sugar leaves seem to be darker than they were, resin production increasing. If the final product smells like the stems do now then we may have a winner here. Absolutely different and very potent spice.

Two of the plants have very sativa buds one other seems to be producing rounder buds as opposed to long buds but still too early to tell. Once they start to bulk up I can get a more accurate assessment.

Yes, but my guess is a boy. You know how they grow taller, with less branching. I'm getting that type of thing. They all seem to be vigorous tho

SAME here! Mine are about 4 feet tall but only 7-8 nodes! SUPER stretchy!

The leaves are 'damaged' from the FIM job last week! TRYING to get it to bush out! It shot up a foot in a week! 😲

The looks of the male and female seem to be night and day. Thin ones all ended up as girls, bushy were all males. As a rule I always watch individual plants that outpace others very closely.

Anyone heard anything from Kush Cloud
started thread in 2014, below are some excerpts from his postings and related articles, I hope that’s OK to re-print…?
Anything in parentheses are my words.
everything else came from Kush cloud or articles posted by Kush Cloud. I wonder if he/she Ever made it to Africa ?

“Article Talking about “equatorial Sativas…
S African, etc etc”
“A great deal of variation exist”
((I believe they mean plant Phenos))?
“Extreme UVB, varying Altitudes, etc.”
“UVB contributing to increasing Thc”
((easy one for me as I’ve run UVB bulbs in my tent, no doubt increase in Trics, used for 1/2 live of my Autos))
“Volcanic soils etc. & very Acidic soils in Ituri…”
“Thca can be as high as 80% of Thc”
((This one I found interesting, because that could certainly explain the psychedelic high some users mentioned))
&
“All of y'all have good points and Johnnyrotten you hit the nail on the head with the lighting cycle. But what I would do if I had this strain or other equatorial Sativas is first I would make an organic super soil mix and add some microbes. Then I would use advance lighting systems like lush lighting because it's better for photosynthesis and it's kind of close to the suns light spectrum and I would add UV lights like Arcadia D3+ T-5 46 inch 54 watt 12% UV-B for extra UV-B so it would match or surpass the light of the equator to some degree. The I would dial the light on 14/10 for vegetive stage while using the Lush LED Vegetator with the supplemented UV-B because study's that I have seen say that in order for you to get the best out of UV supplementation you have to have it on threw out the whole plants life cycle, just like on the equator they just don't have UV rays during flowering and also they have to get use to the UV rays in order to start making more cannabinods like THC and THCV, also it is genetic which I understand that too, but thats why you use landrace equatorial Sativa genetics that already have this chemo type. Then I would use Lush dominator 2x or 2xXL (depending on how many Sativas I'm growing) with the extra UV-B lighting, I would dial the flowering cycle on 11/13 for best Sativa phenotypic expression. While supplementing CO2 and oxygenating the water with ozone.”

((as I have previously mentioned I will be finishing up BAM in the tent with the supplemental UVB, But for now at 780 feet above sea level, they will just have to do in the sun…with my soil mixture !))

(OK, so the Sativa strains from this area act like Autos due to 12 hr perpetual days !!!, but have a extremely long Grow season unlike Autos ???
Read a article recently that basically clued me into this saying the same thing in general …! )

OK, making progress, zoom way in very noticeable difference between BAM &
GSC Trics …BAM very Fury ? Much more than GSC. What’s it mean, hell if I know, buy time will tell (This GSC auto strain is 22% Thc). ;)

Comments welcome 🤗

Remnants of a leaf stem dried on plant to an absolute black color. So I put it in my mouth and the spice taste was so intense! More than any other that I can remember. I'm serious, I really am starting to believe this is what I had in the 80s and I am just completely blown away. It's a very unique taste and I swear this is it. I'm 80% convinced so far.

Remnants of a leaf stem dried on plant and turned black. I chewed it and it was such an intense spice taste that I stood there in disbelief. Nothing else tastes like this but the bam. I'm 80% convinced so far this is what I had in 80s.
