AIR INJECTION TECHNOLOGY??

My wife sister in law and others have all agreed the run i did with AIT (air injection technology) even seeded out was my best run yet. I am a novice small grower who likes to experiment and try new things will thanks to modularhydro I won't be trying anything else new. This system is full prof made taking care of my medicine easy. Had great results. Only issue i could see come up in the summer in Michigan is humidity but that is an issue regardless of soil, or hydroponics. There is water in the room one way or another. I am hooked on AIT no i don't work for them or get paid or get free stuff. I am fairly new to growing in the last year when my doctor found a tumor on my kidney and my wife started having seizures shortly after my diagnosis. I'll post some pictures of the system when i get my order I placed last night that shipped or today, no point in pictures of a bucket with a plant in it lol. Never over water again put as much water as will fit. Bubble away doubled my growth rate for sure and upped my quality. Boston got family there.

been searching around a few sites and i came across this AIT set up. looks very interesting. i dont know if im even allowed to say where its from so i wont but i want to know if any farmers have used this method? it looked perfect for organic growing because of the no leeching aspect of it. idk though.... any thoughts from anyone?

Works great I love mine bough 4 then ordered 6 more after trying it out i grow organic in mine works best

not the same as the airstone totally because these bubble are more intense than the air stone. i have been building my own and it is not as easy as in my head, I'm on my second prototype now, the first one did not put enough oxygen through the soil and the seeds and keeping the soil at the correct temperature in my cold basement. ill keep working and let you know what i find out...

basically from what i can tell it is a 7.8L 2 port air pump a 4 quart or less grow container. from the bottom up is grow stones, then a layer of fiberfil (polyester) to prevent the soil from clogging the the air hoses, then the soil. water it until is is completely saturated and the air pump bubbles the soil. i don't really know if the bacteria are going to thrive in such a moist environment but I'm not sure we will see!

I have a question for MI Jesse. I am searching for a first time set up. I came across the AIT and it grabbed my attention because I want to grow as organic as possible. I was thinking of setting this system up with FF soil either OF or HF and running NFTG base feeding system for the first run. Since you have run the system to completion, do you think this would work; are there any feeding or flushing schedules that you would recommend; any notes of wisdom?

I will most likely set up a Super Soil for long term No Till later but I would like to start with this type of set up.

This tubing is called soaker hose and you can buy it at a hardware store for about 5 dollars for a 50 ft roll. Not all hardware stores carry ithe so call around. Irrigation soaker hose.

There is a grower on another forum that does this in a diy set up. He calls it AIS (air injected soil).

But he uses aquarium style air pumps and hoses and has terrible results.

I had never heard of this anywhere else before now. Seems like it would destroy not only beneficial bacteria but the CEC properties of the soil.
