Any reason in particular you made the pot so tall? Nice job!

What's the price difference between making your own and buying these?
With the concave bottom I used I lost approx 6 " of volume. I want to leave lots of room for that GSC. She's gonna need it.
the price so far is $85 for sheeting , $8 for stainless hardware and I already had the old hanging basket I used for bottom. The sheeting is 100 square feet. So lots more pots can be built from that sheet.

Curious to see how far down the roots will go. A friend with beds noted that the roots tend to stay toward the surface, but that may be due to watering from the top and the fact that it doesn't have that air pot thing going on. Very creative, tip of the hat to a good idea.
