Rotem Amfert, a subsidiary of the Israeli Group ICL Fertilizers has just launched the production of PeKacid™ (0-60-20 solid mono crystal), a highly acidic (pH = 2.2), fully-soluble PK fertilizer formulated for fertigation applications for calcareous soils and/or high bicarbonate content irrigation waters. An “acid in the bag" product, PeKacid™ is aimed at replacing the conventional application of technical and agricultural-grade phosphoric acid, resulting in an easier, safer and more effective fertilization process.

PeKacid™ is intended for soil-less as well as open-field horticulture fertigation applications, and is well-suited for use in blends of fully-soluble fertilizers as a tool for incorporating calcium, magnesium and micronutrients into the mixed fertilizers. Due to its acidic nature, PeKacid™ has an anticlogging action and enhances nutrients’ uptake.

its like why are we all ready to use something under blind faith and then we find out what it is and were not down.....well I now know what it is and.....I'm not down. Glad I found it didn't jive before I found out what it is.

JH Biotech makes the same product that is called Phosgard, its half the price and made in the U.S.A. It is also used as a fungicide in sprinkler application because of its low ph. I use it as a PH down.
