I would just leave it open for a bit. Moisture should evaporate. So I jumped the gun last night and pressed some stuff a little early.
Moisture in the rosin causes a sizzle in the banger, how would yall “cure” or fix this?View attachment 2632545
There's a heat curing method but I don't remember the details. Google heat curing rosin should get you there.I would just leave it open for a bit. Moisture should evaporate.
Maybe a few stirs here and there also?I would just leave it open for a bit. Moisture should evaporate.
Maybe after it's been open for a little bit. Don't want to be stirring moisture back into the rosin. Stirring after evaporation then letting it sit some more will definitely help with consistency.Maybe a few stirs here and there also?
Yeah that makes sense! Thanks for clarifying.Maybe after it's been open for a little bit. Don't want to be stirring moisture back into the rosin. Stirring after evaporation then letting it sit some more will definitely help with consistency.
You'll have to be more specific than that
Now we're talkin! Unfortunately Im not there yet.Anyone doinh rosin from fresh frozen bubble hash?
If so how are you drying your hash after the wash?

Great info JJ!Nothing new on this press, but I did something new to the same ole process
I had forgotten bags so I ordered some, got ready to press and forgot the parchment paper. So I reused lasts runs. Paper is a little more brittle in recovery but overall, I’d do it again without hesitation.

60 grams gives 12.5 on a regular basis (20%) but there’s room for improvement all ways
AbsolutelyGreat info JJ!

If it ain’t broke dont fix itAbsolutely, these ole rocks I grow in are going on 7 years lol!
After several dabs from each jar, I’ve decided to press the rest of this harvest at 180°.Did a couple test presses on my recent Banana Milk and Qookies auto.View attachment 2678447
Ran one at 180° the other at 200°, both in a 120 u bag.
The 180 yielded a 15% return with .6 from 4g,
while the 200° yielded a 20% return with .8 from 4g.

It’s the color on that first pic, where it’s actually in the press. That color has me curious enough to drop 30 degrees and give her a goDid a couple test presses on my recent Banana Milk and Qookies auto.View attachment 2678447
