Couple weeks left. Smells are coming in strong too. It smells like a rotting fruit tree in the Hawaiian sun. Just like the description reads. A sour skunk rotten fruit smell. Almost borderline offensive yet delicious at the same time. Not a very big yielder and a slow grower. However the quality is there, so thats all that matters to me really. Closet veg plants are overgowing their chanber so the quicker they finish the better for me!

Cheers!

Wish I had a better camera because these buds look great. Smells are amazing. Ill probably wait another week or two max. They still have some fattening up to do. I wish the yield was a bit higher but that's strain dependent. Actually the smallest plant made the frositest buds this time. Hopefully my closet ladies don't grow through the light by then lol. Waiting for these to finish so I can scrog those lanky ladies in the closet and send them into flower asap! These i have grown before and they are fast growers unlike the Aloha Limone. I have to say I'm impressed with myself. My buds have been damn good every run. Im looking forward to finding that special pheno that just blows everything away. Can't wait!

Cheers Yall!

Day 52 here. The plant on the top left is the furthest along. The other two need another 1-2 weeks imo. Ill pros just wait two more weeks and chop them all at once. I don't have time to be waiting for each plant to finish at the perfect time. My closet needs transplanting and relocation asap. I will do top them all tomorrow to slow them down a bit. Flowere are super frosty and smell amazing. I wish I had a better camera phone to capture the beauty. 2 more weeks guys! 2 more weeks...

Cherrs yall!

Cherrs yall!

Your camera phone is taking nice shots.

I predict the harvest happens before 2 weeks the way you're sounding though :-). You'll have much nicer bud than you'd buy.

I guess the pics aren't that bad. You're right. Let's call it one more week and screw it. They are coming down! This will be my first time drying in the summer though. So the drying conditions indoors will be in the mid 70's. Lower 70's with the ac running. I think im going tp dry them in the tent so I can control the environment better. Does anyone have any experience with drying in warm conditions. I guess a shorter dry time and longer cure with prolonged burping sessions to get that inside moisture to wick back out is the best way to go about it. Gotta try it to learn first.

Drying in the tent makes sense especially if you have a carbon filter. The little darlings are at their smelliest.

In the end you will use dry time then cure that feels right. Typically about a week of dry and then cure until it doesn't make a difference to open is what I use. Last summers crop that's still here is still greenish with good odor.

Lower 70's should be good and the AC will remove humidity.

I was out of town for a few days and the girls were damn thirsty when I got home. I pretty much have to be home every day to water properly now. Two days max, and that's pushing it. Plants looked like shit when I got home today. It was hot as shit in the tent too cause I left my window ac on low. If I run it full blast, the coils would always freeze overnight. Fuck, I wish I had central ac. It makes summer growing so much easier. Anyway, plants buds are really filling in now and putting on serious weight. Super dense ass buds. They are heavy, even putting strain on the thick healthy branches. Thats a good thing I guess. Lol.

Cheers yall!

Day 68 and I couldn't be happier with my results. I think I did damn good for my third grow in the new setup. The automated AC Infinity setup makes growing a breeze. Also, the Spiderfarmer sf7000 light I used this time around definitely made a huge difference in the bud structure. The flowers on these plants are super dense. Like a rock! Lol! They smell like a skunky rotten fruit trees that is almost repulsive when aggravated. The description read that its high in limonene terms but mine don't seem to citrusy. I know alot of smells and flavors get better after a proper cure. Some strains barely smell when in flower but wreak after the drying/curing process. Its all strain and pheno dependent though. They are getting 3 days of no light and then comes the axe. Im more worried about drying in this hot and humid summer weather we've been dealing with. Gonna have to be a shorter dry time inside the tent, followed by a longer cure. The outside of the buds should dry quickly, however the left over moisture inside them should wick outwards after a proper cure. We shall see. My timing was a bit off with this grow so my closet ladies have grown way too big! I should have been more aggressive with the topping and maintenance of them. I chose laziness with them for a reason though. I kind of just let them go to see if the f1 seeds I grew were stable or not. If these don't herm in flower then they are definitely some troopers. I ran out of space in the closet space so the plants aren't growing to their fullest potential. They are a bit hungry and the bottom leaves aren't getting any light so that isn't helping. They are also in tiny 1 gallon pots still which is crazy to me. Im baffled with the fact that they keep growing so vigorously even with such small pots. Im starting to think that as long as you water and feed plants in small pots properly they should grow fine. However, its alot easier to maintain bigger plants in a bigger pot imo. The canopy also looks like shit due to the light being so close. I need another week or two before I can move them out of there, transplant, and put them into flower in the tent. They stretched quite a bit just like I wanted them too. I shouldn't have any problem filling the scrog net with these girls as they are huge! ll figure it out though. Its all free weed at the end of the day so I'm not tripping. Ill go ahead and post some harvest pics in a few days. Until then cheers growmies and thanks for all the input. Im getting better and better at this and the product speaks for itself!

Cheers Yall!

lol
that bunch coming out of the closet waiting for free space in the tent is fantastic 🥰
I assume they jump in after the cut?
Haha yea. That's if I can fit them all in there. Its going to definitely take some work getting them trained properly. Thats for sure. I now see why space is so important though. The plants definitely suffer when overcrowded. Ill make it work though. Even if I have to chop then in half. That strain is very resilient and grows vigorously.

PS they were grown using only 100 watts of power. The lights can use 100, 200 or 300 watts of power via switches. Even has a 50 watt red switch for flpwer. It has such a weird dimming mechanism. It does good for a cheap Amazon light though. Haha!

looks like good bunch for the scrogging 😉 I will watch your struggles to fit them in with interest
I have grown mine under 95W for two months 🤣 and noticed that longer low wattage makes them more elastic

3 days in the dark? why?
what happens in 3 days of dark?
also there is no such thing as hot soil?

This is my first time giving the three days of darkness a shot. I've heard a lot of people do it, and they swear by their results. It could be one of those growers old wives tales for all I know. Lol! Honestly it probably is. I figured I'd give it a shot since I'm out of town for a few days. I don't wanna leave my window ac running while I'm gone. Figured I'd give it a shot. The ocean forest soil I've been using has always been really hot out of the bag. Im not quite sure I understand your question. Im still pretty new to growing so I'll take any experienced growers advice happily. I also was wondering about the whole soil thing. I was growing/feeding organically so I thought the plants take up and break down nutes as needed. I could be wrong though.

anyone who believes something happens in 3 days darkness is completely delusional,..
hot soil another lie,. it’s grower error, generally watering to frequently causing more nutrients to be released..
or as you did was add in more when not needed..

it is
complete nonsense 😉
Thats actually what I figured regarding both topics. Theres a lot of crazy ass things growers do and swear that it helps. Some of it is literally hilarious. I figured the darkness would be the most believable as I think buds grow more at night right? I know they covert energy stores into sugars at night. I won't be home for 48 hours so i dontthink the darkness will hurt then. It definately seemed the most plausible one of the many wives tales. I remember someone telling me they put their plants outdoors for a night in the winter. I also heard that hanging your plants upside down with the roots in tact is the best way to dry them. Lmfao! I could go on and on with these stories. There's a lot of misinformation out there. Thats for sure!

good for you to question these things,. this whole industry at every level is filled with nonsense,..

Lol they are gonna start growing thru the door soon. I need another week and a half. Gonna do some defiation and topping like 6 or so inches off their tops. They are touching the light pretty much at this point.
