AM20 5,400w Tent Pimpin'

Hello everybody,
been a while since my last thread but a lot has changed since then so I figured why not give everyone a little update. I'll list everything and then I got a bunch of pictures cause I know you all love that shit :damnhippie: This grow is completely LEGAL under CO Amendment 20.

VEG:
Secret Jardin DR150w(5x3)/Daystar 400w Ceramic Metal Halide
Secret Jardin DR150(5x5)/MagnumXXXL 8" 1000w Hortilux BLUE Metal Halide

Nutes: Canna Terra Vega, Cal/Mg, Hygrozyme, Liquid Karma, Roots Excelurator and Great White.

FLOWER:
2x Secret Jardin DR240w(8x4)/Radiant Hoods 2kw in each, one running Hortilux Dual Arcs the other running regular Hortilux 1000w Super HPS

Nutes: Advanced Bud Blood, Sensi A/B, Big Bud, Overdrive, Bud Candy+ some of the other stuff above

STRAINS:
Veg: Chemdog, Chemjones (3 phenos), TGA Subcool's Qleaner, Pandora's Box and Agent Orange

Flower: ISS, Black Domina, Blueberry or Ak47 (haven't figured it out yet), Sour Diesel, Chemjones

I've got 36, all in soil...for now. I mix one bag FFOF, one bag Light Warrior and a small bag of perlite. Most are in 5 gallon pots. I think that's it, now for the show!

Wassup Nug... good choice on the tents, im a tent man myself... how do you like those secret tents..... i was looking into those but went w/ the growlabs...... i just wish my growlabs had more holes in them for vents and cords, but i know those jardins have plenty but they're super expensive..... i noticed that your ac unit is only running into one flower tent....or do you split it for both? and i was jsut curious if you have those set up on perpetual harvest? .... but everything looks great... seems like you know what ur doin....

I would build a baffle box to go around that window and hook your exhaust into that. Thers a dutch video on grow room set-up that shows it perfectly. Love those tents. and your girls look great. Been debating on a tent or a 2x4 construct. Wood is cheaper where I am lol. Im subbed and ready to enjoy the rest of the show.

Gotta say I love the secret jardins. The DR240w was completely backordered when I was looking for the 2nd one and i almost went with a growlab but i called around to every place i could think of and finally tracked one down. They're awesome. Super thick, quality feel to them, plenty dark (haven't had any leak issues whatsoever) and plenty of vents. They really don't cost too much more than the growlabs, the hydro huts are the pricey ones. Check out Greners.com they've got all the tents and even the new secret jardin darkroom II's that just came out, even better light proofing and much better construction, more reinforced corners etc. Price difference gets erased once you have your first successful run! When I saw growlabs in the local hydro stores i thought they felt cheap, thin, and not quite as reflective on the inside as the secret jardins.

As for my a/c I actually have one portable unit for each of my flowering tents. The tent on the left doesn't need one though cause it has 8 inch radiants and doesn't need any extra cooling, the tent with 6 inch radiants needs a fair amount of cooling...thinking i'll upgrade and ditch the 6 inchers after this run.

Right now 3/4 of the flowering space is about 4 weeks and and 1/4 is two weeks in. Didn't really plan on trying to do perpetual, I was more thinking of filling each flower tent 4-5 weeks apart so I could harvest one every month or so but my veg plants got huge while waiting for my last run to finish up so I'm really not sure. I don't know if I'm organized enough to run a perpetual grow, ideally i'll just have two tents full of canopy at all times :icon_spin:

Don't know what a baffle box is but I'll have to look into it! My apartment managers know i grow (not how much though) so the noise outside really hasn't been an issue. From the outside you can just see a big box fan and the ducting from my a/c which is pretty discreet as it's on the 3rd floor.

Came back last night from a few days visiting family back in the bay, unfortunately things didn't go as well as i had hoped while I was gone. Two of my plants look either burned or deficient. I'm guessing burned since i fed them right before I left, don't know what happened but I must've accidentally given them a double dose of something at some point. A couple had tipped over and a couple looked extremely dehydrated. Watered them all with the quickness, hopefully they'll hang in there, i'd be pissed if they hermed from stress. Gotta find new baby-sitters for when I go out of town next.

Also figured out that 3 of the "ISS" I had were actually S.A.G.E. Kinda bummed cause I like the smell taste and high of the ISS much better but the yield should be nice and fat. And boy are they starting to look frosty. I'll update with pictures in a couple days.

thanks man! I'm a huge fan of the tents. they go up so easily, come down in a flash and make it easy for n00bs like myself to achieve a stable climate, ample light coverage and proper air circulation. get those three things right and you're gonna make your buds better and bigger, guaranteed!

Good question, I honestly don't know cause they look identical in veg. My guess would be he has a couple of each cause I know I didn't cut all the clones off the same plant. I'll let him know right now.

I think I ended up with 3 ISS and 1 S.A.G.E. Not sure what to do with odd numbers like that but will figure something out. What's the word on the street Steppa with the S.A.G.E. and ISS? No reason to pump it out if it ain't gold.

Haha my bad man, won't happen again. I've been having a tough time feeding them the appropriate amounts since I have so many different strains. I tried skipping a feed and lightening up on the nutes but the tips don't seem to wanna perk back up!

Always looks super frosty up until chop. Then you realize it's blueberry....meh. Great trim for hashmaking purposes though.

Nope, both run at the same time. Rather take care of them all at once rather than different hours of the day, makes it way less hectic.
